The other reason people use single shots for f class is you don't have to machine the magwell hole in the receiver. Makes it far stronger, more accurate.

We took our 6x47L out to a 600 yard gong match (5" gong) this weekend. It was the first time shooting 600 with it and it didn't turn out well 😄. In fact we only shot about 15 rounds through it at 300 before this. We still had a good time and learned a few things. Thanks for sharing!

Just got all my 6GT components and am putting the rifle together tonight. Was going to try Varget 33'ish grains with an ELD-M 108. Any recommendations?

105s work good too. I shot my first clean with 115 dtacs. Reloader 15.5

@mikecornelison9910 Midway had 108gr Factory 2nds for $24/100. I figured it would be good fodder for barrel break-in/speed up at the very least. Any less desirable powder to use. Have 8lbs of StaBall 6.5 too.

@tommyj7087 H4350 Reloader 15.5 Varget Shooters' world precision 6.5 Staball There are a few more that will work, too. Really, anything around H4350 on the burn chart will work pretty good. Some just stand out over others.

How do you compare the March against a Valdada? The March has fluorite elements which are really hard to beat so was curious how you compare them.

several, The amount changes from match to match. Most of the open guys are shooting 6 Dasher, but they are paying close attention to the GT as our scores are as good or better in some cases. When we are using a foldable bipod and they are using a persicos rest and the scores are VERY close I would say there is something to cartage advantage. just my 2 cents.

Hey Boss. I like the looks of the GT. Was thinking about the dasher and I think it has feed problems (short), the GT looks like a better alternative. I am building a few different rifles and am a newb. Wanted to ask a few questions. You didn't talk about your action there, what is it? Thoughts on changeable boltheads? I know nothing on barrel profiles and am building a 6.5PRC and 7mmPRC, thinking 26' and 28 inch respectively. Seems to keep in a pattern 😆with my 223 @ 22" and 308 @ 24". None of these are hunters, I have my 6.5CM carbon on carbon for that. This is such a slow process building and getting all the equipment, learning, practicing that I think it will be 3 or 4 years before I should venture into a match. The 223 and 308 are "trainers". With my 7mmPRC I don't think it likely I would find the need to change caliber, but I have an option for a barrel change and to make it 300PRC, if I ever wanted. I can't see me ever wanting 338/375. The shorty (action) however...there is the very probable likelihood of doing a 6mm and the GT is winning at the moment. What barrel profiles would you choose for these 3 calibers? Obviously, I am into a little LR with the 2 PRC's (shooting 1km and 1 mile will be happy days for me!). I have 2 x rem 700 actions in with one of these socially awkward precious genius gunsmiths for 7 weeks getting the FULL works done! This was not my plan but I couldn't buy custom actions here in Australia. Recently I found a way to import from USA/Canada and am looking/studying which I want to buy. I think I will and either a) make more guns b) sell made guns, c) sell off fully accurized/customized/trued actions. Hope you answer after all this bloody typing!!!😆😅🤣😂

6 dasher is good if there is no wind, otherwise a bigger case is going to be better. 6GT, 6x47, 6XC, 6 Creed. I like the 6gt because of my history with it. (Past 3 years). It has worked well for me.
