So how has the truck handled with the 6” lift and the bigger wheels/tires? Have you noticed any loss of power with the 2.7?......I was thinking of doing the 6” lift with the 20x9 +18 with 295/65/20 but wasn’t sure if it would lose a shit ton of power or if it wouldn’t be that noticeable.

Looks so awesome. This is the tire size I want to get ( I too hastily bought the RG's in 275/65r20) and the narrowness is beginning to bother me now that I am about to put a lift on the truck. I wanted to ask, did you just upgrade your RC 4" lift with coilovers up front and new rear parts? Or did you get an entire new lift kit completely (like all of the crossmember and bracket parts)? I know BDS and Zone makes it easy to add on or go from 6" to 4" or 4" to 6" for cheap, but I can't find much information on how complicated that would be for RC lifts. I am looking at the same 4" lift you previously had but I feel like eventually I might end up wanting to take it up to 6" as well. Thanks and love the content.
@WICKEDAUTO13 жыл бұрын
I will say I wish I wouldve stuck with the 4in. The 6in doesn't make much difference looks wise at least but it definitely does mpg. Even with the tune at 70 I got 14ish. Over 70 I was lucky to get 13. With RC no structural parts change between the lifts, it's just the different struts and blocks. So your cv axle and all that will be as if you have a 2in level on stock. As far as I was aware bds knuckles n crossmembers are different between the 4 n 6in to keep stock alignments
@forcemajeur.51383 жыл бұрын
@@WICKEDAUTO1 ahhh I hadn't really considered that, I just assumed either lift you'd be taking a mpg hit. I thought your 4" looked great, but your 6" lift looks awesome too so other than gas you got a perfect truck lol. Thank you for the input brother.
@forcemajeur.51383 жыл бұрын
@@WICKEDAUTO1 Last question to bother you ( as you are one of the main people I get my content for mods from) between a 6" RC or Zone lift, you think the 4.5" super lift with some beefy tires would be a better look and have less gas mileage drain than the 6"? thanks again my man.

Yes to a point. Heavier, more force behind the braking. The 4in was better for the suspension as the cv angles were perfect now with this one they are angled slightly so it will cause it to wear faster
