At first I thought this was a commercial product that was way over engineered and detailed for what it was but yet I need to buy it immediately. Knowing now that it's a mod build, it makes more sense that it's not something you can buy but it now makes me want one more. Great work.
@johnbasiglone12192 жыл бұрын
So did he build this from a basic polystyrene model? Did he build the hardware and software system from scratch components? If yes to the above questions, then this thing should be made into a commercial kit. I would have done it with 1/32 F -14 Tomcat, Eurofighter Typhoon, F/A-18F, F-22 or F-35 But then again I am not a gamer or fantasy guy. Probably the fantasy fighters would be a bigger seller in the Japanese market. For the realist folks, the F-22 in the U. S. market, the Eurofighter in the Greater E.U. and lest I forget, the MIG-29M OVT for the Eastern European Market. Of course, all these aircraft would crossover to all markets. The DCS pilots and fans would gobble up these kits or completed systems. With the cost of producing micro-components and microelectronic systems relatively low and the cheap slave labor costs in sweat shop factories in China, Vietnam and India, there is no reason these systems could not be brought to market at an attractive price.

Like Roy Fokker said “This Robo technology just gets under your skin” Absolutely love this, it is the GOAT mod ever made in my book to existing collectible 👌🏻
One day ago I started building a Falke Bomber Cat model. I realized that I could add some lights and maybe a motorized parts to the model seeing its size. So, I started basic research on how to make a basic LED circuitry since I never dabbled in it.. And today...KZbin suggested this video to me. Just from the google search about resistors, levitrons and some drawing I made in a Samsung tablet. The strangest thing was....I haven't thought of Macross in quite a while. I did think about Mospeada, which was part of the Robotech series, while on long drive. A few minutes later...this Macross video appeared on my KZbin recommendation when I stopped at rest stop.

@@CollectorChronicles Happened quite some what regularly for me. Several years back I decided to kit bash some models instead of making them straight out of the box like a jet-powered P-51 Mustang. I did some planning on pen and paper but then a Facebook group just so happened to share pictures of an actual experimental jet-powered Mustang. I kit bashed an A-10 into a version if it were to be used in World War 2(I put the jet engines on the wings) and Google showed me a random picture of a German twin-engined heavy fighter that I've never seen before that looked almost identical. Let's not get me started with Facebook and KZbin ads that appear minutes after I simply LOOKED at the actual items while at the shops.

My first model kit as a kid was a Valkyrie that was fully transformable, had a system of rubber washers on all the joints so they'd stay put when posed, and metal spring-loaded landing gear. It was both incredibly complex, yet easy enough for this first time builder to assemble without any problems. However I knew nothing about painting models yet, so it ended up looking pretty ugly. But functionally it was amazing! In fact, I'm pretty sure they used the molds later for the Transformers toy version based on taking one of those apart once.
