Sorry for my dodgy heavy breathing, I've got the tail end of a summer cold.
Also sorry the captions are a bit quick. They were on screen longer in the editing software, but not once it was rendered.
Recipe adapted from various ones online, but mostly this one: www.highstreet... (which was, typically, the one I found last).
One thing I found as most Instant Pot / electric pressure cooker sites are American. Their recipes for ham; all seem to assume a precooked ham joint! And are therefore only reheating the meat (which is why they are 2-3min per lb). This is a raw product and needs to be properly cooked.
Gammon (raw wet cured Ham.Bacon joint) in my Pressure King Pro:
1.6kg /3.55lb Boneless gammon
1 Carrot - peeled & chopped roughly
2 Celery Stalks - chopped roughly
1 onion - peeled & chopped roughly
2 bay leaves
8-10 black peppercorns
Boiling water
You can also add a few cloves... But I dislike cloves so I left them out..
Put the veg in first. to at as a trivet/rack and keep the gammon off the bottom.
Add boiling water (or cold, it will just take a little longer to come to pressure) to the minimum fill line.
Set the pressure cooker for meat (high). And set it to cook for 15min per 500g.
Sorry for the abrupt end to the video my family wanted their dinner.
I served this with boiled new potatoes, Peas, Carrots, & Cauliflower cheese (The cauliflower cheese was synned but not hugely).
The Gammon itself is syn free on the Slimming World plan (after I removed the fat from around the edge), and provided enough meat for about 10 meals + some trimmings.
It also made about a pint of lovely bacon stock, which I will use to make a split pea soup tonight with the trimmings.

you dont need hot water so why?

Speed. If you put the kettle on while you're prepping everything it saves a few minutes while waiting for the PKP to come to pressure than you would starting with cold water.

10 meals out of that one gammon, how do you ration it to that?

Start with a bloody huge gammon.

Sorry that sounds a bit sarky. It was a 1.6kg Gammon. So it was very large and as you can see it didn't have much fat on the edge. You don't get as much shrinkage cooking in a pressure cooker as you do in the oven. So we would've got, maybe 1.3kg once cooked & fat removed. So you'll get 10 meals at 130g per person which is a good portion. And all the scrappy bits & cooking juices get used to make soup with a load of veggies too. But I wouldn't usually count those as it's a bonus dish.

@@riocaz I really don`t mind sarcasm but for a three member family that works out at 43 grams per meal for each person, hardly enough to make a half sandwich.

@@riocaz the previous statement was that "the family decided they wanted dinner at that point" so I wrongly assumed that it was ten meals for the family. I do my Gammon in the same way and ten meals is about right, I have a different multi cooker and I sometimes slow cook for about five hours, I don`t think that there is a big difference though.
