the lathe is holding it at the rear clamped on the spigot i assume?, the pressurising tool is being held in place at the front of it with air pressure forcing it against the lathe. what does putting the tool stand up against it do?? i don't understand.

hi, when you put 120psi pressure ( or more ) in converter, it can cause the tail stock with the pressure tool to be pushed out or wound out. by putting pressure with the tool post it cocks the converter to side a little bit and helps hold/lock the test tool from flying out. this can happen because the tool has about 2mm clearance from pressing up against the converter neck in this vid. it can cause tool to quickly pop out and get damaged..dont ask me how i know... hope that makes sense. cheers

Got a question I have a 03 pajero np recently put in a 5 speed auto. Driving along noticed the green light on cluster beside the D started to flicker then went out pulled over stopped restarted car then out of blue no drive or sport mode and green light that indicates what gear your in P and D won’t illuminate.recently put another gear lever assembly in aswell looking for advice.

hi, check all basics....then try the easier remedies first and work your way up. sorry really hard to say without having a look and doing more checks and tests. cheers
