I don't use nylon stand offs to hold down fc/esc's down anymore. They break on hard impact. Great job on the build.

If you wanted to use the Vbat from the runcam you could disable everything but that, and then use everything but voltage from your FC's OSD. Nice build!

It's the same for me; I work on something for 3 hours, then I give up, and suddenly an hour or two later I figure it out by doing absolutely nothing

Nice video man! Thanks for sharing your new build. For next time, please try to even the audio levels better between talking and music. I made the mistake of turning the volume way up so I could hear you talk... And then got blasted when the music started.

Man, how could you go to sleep after building this? I would be like a kid on Christmas Eve..lol..although you were probably pretty burnt by 3. Really dig all the choices. Peace, Wheelchair John in Idaho :) Was rootin for you in Long Beach, that was a hell of a race man, you held strong, good job :)

Did u have any issues with how u Mounted the esc with the pin connector on top and motor pads on bottom? Are you using a cap I have all the same parts. My first 6s build just don’t want it to blow up
@gabbychavesracing246 жыл бұрын
KYTE FPV no issues with esc mounting this way. And yea I have a 1000 uF 35V cap straight on the lipo leads

KYTE FPV I used a blade to cut out a small piece of the canopy to be able to have enough room to access the usb.

How do those 6s 2205s feel?? I have really only flew 2306 and 2307s on 6s... and 2207 1660kv R3s on a 7 inch long range build. Never flew a 22xx stator motor on 6s , do they hold up well and how's the power?
@gabbychavesracing246 жыл бұрын
Quadcopters And Airguns power is really nice with this KV. Similar to 2700+ kv on 4s but way more snappy. I think this setup will be killer for tight technical tracks or indoor stuff/ close proximity flying freestyle. However I think you’ll want to limit using bigger pitch props since it lack the tq to move them like a 2306/2207 would
@quadcoptersandairguns12836 жыл бұрын
GC Cannonball that's mainly what I was asking and confirmed my thoughts that even on 6s the 2205s would like the torque to handle heavier props.. I hate those damn 5051s I have had more then a few brand new ones with no crashes or strikes explode on me on just quick blips of full throttle.. hell just had one do it a few days ago on a 2700kv LS2206, I love the response of them on small tight tracks on super light 2205 and 2206 builds but have had to many of them just explode.. have you had issues with them just loosing a blade mid flight?? I agree wholly with your statement of my fav frame.. I love my Merica builds, still haven't found another frame that handles like it.
@gabbychavesracing246 жыл бұрын
Quadcopters And Airguns actually the flight footage at the end was on GF 5152. So it will work no issue but I think it would do better with 5043- 5046 props
@quadcoptersandairguns12836 жыл бұрын
GC Cannonball that is impressive pop out of turns with high load props like that on little stator motors.. on the the 5152 Tri blades or bi blades? I think I'm gonna order a few sets of those motors and build a ultra light free style quad on them for 6s 1050s on some low load props and should get really good flight times and insane response... how's the throttle curve of those motors is all the power in the last 20 to 30% or are they more linear across the stick throw?? That's something I'm not liking about the low KV Tmotor 6s motors is they feel dull in the mid range of the stick and all the power comes on in the last 30% of stick travel to the point for MultiGP 6s builds I've had to add a 3d heli-esq throttle/pitch curve to make them feel consistent across the stick travel (I prefer more the meat of my power range to be from about 30% to 80% of stick travel with slightly softer off zero throttle stick feel and less explosive last 15 to 20% of Stick travel but much more throttle speed change in the 30 to 80% of stick throw.. that comes from me being a long time 3d heli pilot and how my pitch curves was setup.. giving me 80% of my pos and neg pitch range with just 30% neg and 30% pos from center of my collective pitch stick.. I ask how's the throttle curve even tho I will adjust it in the radio but some motors that have all the power in one small area of stick travel make it very hard to dial in a throttle curve how I like it.

Quadcopters And Airguns I love using the Dal 5051's but they have a life expectancy of about a week to me it seems without hitting stuff. I guess the plastic at the hub gets weak from flexing over time and than flings blades off at random times causing ass clenching crashes randomly so I just swap them out for a new pair every week if I don't crash them first, but love the way they fly and have a large surplus of them.
