6th of july at Thorntons arcade clock chimed ok but didnt strike the hours

now this is another shot of the Thorntons arcade clock in leeds up bridge street its looking a bit untidy and needs alot of work doing to it the roman numerals around the clock face need painting black so it stands out and the clock face needs repainting all white so it will stand out more its working better this time its been put right i saw it when i came into leeds city centre before bellringing at kippax church st marys wedsnday eve 6th of july 2022 now the clock chimed the full westminster chiming but didnt strike the hours so the other 2 figures need to be looked at and mended so it can strike the number of hours on the hour maby the mecanisum which makes the 2 figures strike the big 3 cwt big bell must be broken most of the time when i come to leeds city centre i always go visit the Thorntons arcade clock sometimes it does chime and strike bang on time or other times it can be an hour and quarter behinde or it has been completley stopped not going at all by stuart mills adventure visits hope you like the arcade clock it was put in Here in 1877 its a potts of sons of leeds clock is this one like the grand arcade up bridge street 2 knights in silver a black gold clock face roman numerals they chime on 2 arched shaped bells not like our church bells like a old grand father arched bell clock ok they chime the hours quarters again the other 5 figures bow every hour and come out thats not working ither thats broken as well its going to cost 10 million grand to get it fixed propley yes it still chimes every hours quarters strikes every hours but the 2 doors dont open up at the moment its going to be a long long time before it gets repeard ok so theres no point waiting for the grand arcade clock to chime the hours to strike the hours the figures wont come out to bowe around so theres no point sitting around waiting for it to do it or standing waiting its not working trust me i went to have another look after i came back from the striking contest at thorner st peters church bellringing i went to visit the grand arcade clock not working propley i was there at 5 oclock to see it nothing happend only the 2 knights chimes the 2 arched bells ting tangs and struck 5 dongs thats it no soulder no scottish or inglishman no indian figure no irish man they were the only ones i didnt see come out after striking 5pm not working ok hope you all understand thanks for listning friends
