I really want to see Kaitoptera strategies start becoming more common now that the new set is out. I've been trying to use it with Draconic Diagram to get an extra baby pop and cut back on copies of Lost World.

He was cooking up Kaitoptera strategies but ultimately didn’t have enough time to get anything firmed up before the regional and just stuck with what was tried and true. True King feels bricky in his opinion and too reliant on having other cards in hand for the higher ceiling it offers. Scrap package and Fenrir felt more simple and consistent in exchange for a lower ceiling + the current format is slower / mid-range where a build like this can shine
