Transmedia is just too much work for me as a consumer. I like my media experience contained in one space. If apart from the story this also become some kind of puzzle game or collecting challenge, that may be fun for some people but not for everyone. For example, I find it bad enough that the MCU not only has so many movies, but also web series and original series and probably some other tie-ins. How am I going to keep up as a casual watcher of the films?
