7-11-19 Late Model Feature I-96 Speedway

That was a great race , I went in person and was looking forward to seeing it again . Ryan Vanderveen in the black 23 drove his butt off to finish top 5 ahead of some big dogs . he was faster than Jason Feger and jeep vanwormer , I know he is feeling good about his performance , and Brian Shirley just hit his marks right all night and showed them all how it's done . The biggest upset was Bobby Pierce blowing his engine , he was a strong runner and I think he was the only one that could have possibly got by Shirley . great job filming !

Hard to beat a guy like Shirley running a Durham at these shows. He's got stuff to compete for wins every night on a national level.

@@stevenmorrison4692 I know , I have seen shirley and jeep and pierce etc at eldora against the top lm racers and they do well . shirley hit his marks better than many . jeep seems to be rarely perfect but very fast when he has his head together , or screws himself every time I watch him . I dont know what happened with Dona Marcoullier but he would have been good at that race , I would love to see Dona in Jeeps car , with dona setting it up his way . If you dont know who Dona is , he finished 3rd to the outlaws at Berlin on the 1/2 mile on dirt . He qualified fast too , but he's a working guy with a family to support so he does not have near as much funding as jeep or pierce etc . He is the smoothest lm driver I have seen .

I 96 been there twice. This was a good race. Love me some dirt track racing 😁

CJ1 goes off the top of the track every time he's there.

I heard something for the first time in my life at that race , when cj1 went off the track on lap 1 . They said because all 4 tires did not stop , he get's his spot back ? never heard that rule ? I figured it would be a complete restart anyways and have seen so many drivers stop when they get a shitty start that is sucks . I think they are frowning on that now and made some new 4 tire deal ?

i96 speedway is a great track,,thanx to mike mouch,his dad who is sadly missed,,now jeff who is doing a great job keeping it going,,thank u,, jersey bob
