Deeply sorry for your trauma. As we speak, a young lady is missing in Birmingham, AL. It was reported that she pulled over to assist a child on I-459. She was on the phone with her family. They heard a scream, then silence and she hasn’t been heard from since. It’s only getting minimal news since the alleged Long Island killer suspect is major headlines above all else. I’d do anything had this beautiful woman survived for this trial. Prayers for her family that Justice prevails. This is horrific what they’ve endured.

@@EmmaDee unfortunately at the time she didn't get A-LOT of coverage but there was a lot here in Tennessee which is likely why she was only sentenced to one year in prison and fines since she lied about the whole thing! What's more f'd up about Carley Russell is that it could had made ppl be leery of helping a child if a real scenario did happen! The coverage quickly slimmed down b/c they almost immediately knew the next day or so it was a hoax because of the cameras on 459 which is why the case didn't "blow up" using resources!

During the first officer he F's up! He said "she told you he rubbed her crotch took her jewelry and phone" but when Yohn question's him yohn said "you stated she said he took her jewelry, glasses, phone, rings, necklaces,etc" he did NOT specify those things so I would be curious to find out if she had glasses on and those items b/c to me that's an admission of guilt in a way! He slips up a couple times! He makes sure to ask every witness something about the sexual part of the crime! He is just trying to relive the crime which makes this 10x worse! Jessica, I see what you're saying about the glasses, but the officer would have filed a complete report if everything she stated was taken, and the defendant would have a copy of that, and he just doesn't know enough about the law to not combine all the "known" details with what was actually testified to in court. Her watch was identified by her husband and it's very femine in design and he was wearing her watch (wearing it and her bracelet on his wrist) when arrested in Springfield. And he had the keys to her car although he had parked it blocks away from where he was staying in Springfield. How does he have her possession and her vehicle if he didn't assault her and drive away with her possessions and her car? Plus his co-defendant already admitted her involvement and pled guilty. I know our constitution provides us with ability to 'defend ourselves' and a trial, but this guy has only proven himself guilty with this circus. He should receive sonsecutive sentencing for every action and not be sentenced to concurrent jail time. Every sentence he receives should be served and added on as additional time so that he never walks out of prison. He's not charged with murder, but I believe and feel his torture and perverted actions advanced her death. So very sorry the family (especially her husband) had to be 'victimized' too by his questions of them as he was 'playing' attorney for himself.
