There’s no voice like the brother who was just released. However, this is the first time I’ve listened to this brothers spoken word. And man did it hit me right in the gut. Right in the feels. Those are the exact words I needed to hear right now. Thank you so much. And then the call of the champions right after that, gave me goosebumps throughout the whole piece. We are all called to be champions and can prove that we are as we persevere each and every day. Thank you thank you thank you.

Loved Ryan Murphy's arrangement of Down By the Riverside. A brand new effective spin on the song. Hearing it in a solemn, meditative mood brought the meaning of the text to life so much more than the New Orleans jazz band renditions we usually hear. And the lighting of the organ pipes during Call of the Champions - using the colors of the rings on the Olympic flag was a truly effective touch. A more inspirational broadcast than usual if such is possible. Thank you all for making my day that much brighter.

50 weeks out the year we are joined by the Orchestra at Temple Square. The other two weeks are connected to the LDS General Conference and we are accompanied by our amazing organists.

Yes! Every Sunday except twice a year on General Conference Sunday

@@tabchoirreuploads One Sunday in August 2005 was in SLC and heard the broadcast live the choir had the organ alone. Must have been a reason but don't remember. That Sunday there was a special additional broadcast for the attendees of a VFW convention. Orchestra or not those two broadcasts were great - also the first time I heard Lloyd Newell. Been watching ever since not missing a Sunday.
