I wouldn't say Dark Knight is back to their former glory. With all the knockbacks, and purify canceling pulls, I would say they are certainly much better than they were pre-7.16, but not nearly as oppressive as they were before. Disesteem also wasn't effected by the animation fix, which makes Disteem super hard to hit. Disteem is so slow, that if you line up the attack on a practice dummy, you can literally walk to the side and miss one of the dummies. As someone who play s 90% solo, I can confirm DRK is still not a class you want to play by yourself. This is mostly because people are stupid, and even if you use macros to have people follow sync your attacks and targets, they just don't pay attention or follow up, and they'd rather lick ice than fight. Despite all that, DRK is finally playable again, and playing it with groups is fun. I still wish they did more damage though. I'm only averaging around 800-900k damage, and really only get over a million when I'm with a group, or got stuck in a super long game. Meanwhile, I'm averaging 1.2 to 1.5 million with Gunbreaker playing solo. I'm looking forward to your solo matches because I too want someone else to experience my pain lol.

I am looking ahead slightly thinking after the 7.2 knockback nerfs (copium) but hopeful XD Did not know that on Disteem hopefully it gets the same animation fix coming, and dont worry brother soon I shall expeirence the pain you feel XD

Playing as a solo drk right now is pain, I commend you for your sacrifice. So frustrating landing big warrior or pld bombs only to have 0 follow ups. I get so happy when I see another player that knows how to coordinate.

Hard agree. Along with DRK taking more dmg, only 1 CC on a long cooldown, and their LB by far being the worst out of all 4 tanks. Theres no reason to pick DRK in solo pvp.

Sadly with years of DRK being an issue in frontline I don't think it'll get to a point where it's decently playable for solos just for the fact of frontline commanders or stacks being able to do so much with salted. I wish they just removed or reworked the entire ability instead of the rest of its kit having to end up not being too strong because they didn't want to change the suck in effect.

Hi, what target type and target priority you use? Line of sight or closest? Cone or ignore depth?

I don’t usually comment on KZbin much but I just wanna point out that Disesteem the followup to Eventide **does not** ignore guard it is a tooltip error. The EN tooltip is the only one that mentions “ignores the effects of guard” while the FR, GR, and JP does not. I hope they fix the EN tooltip eventually.

Salted Earth still isnt up to snuff sadly: i used to use it to pull large groups off a bridge, ramp or platform. But somehow even with Salted Earth's pull being instant again, the plane of effect seems to have changed and ive yet to pull it off effectively in onsal.
