for the shear stress at B why didn't we find it at thickness 0.02 AND 0.05 since there are different thicknesses just before and just after point B

below centroidal axial the the thickness is 0.02 which we have to taken.

Why didn't you do 7-23 or is this both question 7-22 and 23 in 1 ?

7-23 is exactly same as 7-22 if you share question I shall explain here what to do. I think in 7-23 you have to find the maximum shear stress....

For maximum shear stress you have to do all the steps as I did in question 7-22 and then from neutral axis to largest distance which is above neutral axis you have to find Qmax and then put it in shear stress formula. So instead of Qb you have to find Qmax and rest all the steps are same. If you feel any difficulty do let me know. Thank you
