Hallo Liturgy of the hours [LOTH]folks ! My "laudate "app seems to have a different set of psalms and antiphons and even feast day focus for today . Any idea why there are 2 different versions of the LOTH ? Anyways, I love St Thomas. Always seemed like a guy I'd be friends with. Happy feast day of St Thomas to you all !

Why sing the hymn in Latin?

This is exactly the problem that Martin Luther had with the Catholic Church. The people couldn’t understand Latin they couldn’t read Latin. They didn’t have access to the Bible. It’s just unbelievable that they’re still doing this to this day and I’m not Catholic.
