I actually didn't catch that when I first made this video that there is that other sealant actually called The Right stuff. it's supposed to work just as well from others I've talked to I just always use the motorcraft stuff.

I have a 94 idi factory turbo diesel that i noticed is dripping about a golf ball size amount of oil after being parked from driving around the flywheel cover. i cant tell where its coming from. My initial thoughts are oil pan rear main or something around the valley pan. not sure if that is accurate. Also, its not a whole lot of oil, so i dont want to mess with it if thats considered a minimal oil leak on these engines. Just looking for your thoughts or insight. thanks

How exactly do you bleed out the fuel lines? Do you leave the injectors loose, crank it for a little while, then tighten and then start it up?

Injectors tight, line nuts loose to bleed air, tighten the nuts one at a time as air is purged

@armandomartinez-jp9zi4 жыл бұрын

@@armandomartinez-jp9zi just looked it up that os the front of the timing cover aka what I call the crankcase cover in the vid. That kit does not include a seal for the cover that goes over the injection pump gear.
