The song Patsy chose to sing is a great jewel from the Wayne Shorter treasure chest entitled " Black Nile " from his 1964 masterpiece for Blue Note records - Night Dreamer. I don't know who wrote the lyrics but Vanessa Rubin sang the very same lyrics on one of her albums for RCA-NOVUS back in the early 1990's. I suspect the lyricist could be either Doug or Jean Carn. Nonetheless , Patsy is our secret national treasure. She is so so BRILLIANT!!.
