My Pos1 career is over at the start 🥲 the little Heroes I can play are all in C tier or below. Time to play support while I learn some of the good carry

Over at the start? Just play whatever you like, its not mandatory to play meta, especially at the low mmr, and you have to remember that you always trade your mmr learning a new hero, so its good to invest some mmr while learning meta heroes, after few games you will get better at them, and will get that mmr back, just watch how pro players min max the hero, and what they do and what they buy to win games

i always treat videos like this as a "which hero not to invest your time with", for example those in s tier and a tier are mostly banned and may definitely get nerfed in the next patch. i have a hero that is listed in the c tier, invested my time in playing with it and have around

@ I am still trying to survive the trenches of Herald, where Positions/Hero Choosing are a blur concept. I think I’ll try to learn some new hero anyway, but I get what you’re saying, and besides hero rise and fall patches by patches

@@enistogni3041 im an old dota player started 2007 woth dota. i was a high archon low legend rank guy, then stopped playing dota for 2 years 2022-2024. i recently cambe back last september and immediately playing heroes based on guys who posted vids like these. i payed syllabear because it was one of the meta heroes last patch, got a few wins more than losses, problem is, he is mostly banned due to him being meta, then after the latest patch, my win rate just dropped to shite due to bear necessities being nerfed. went back to my roots and started playing wraithking. almost all videos i see wk as c or d tier ranked and is only good at herald levels. played himy first 30 or so games in turbo then played rank. first 10 games I felt that i failed as a pos 1, because i realized he may not be a true pos 1, because in the late game i always got fucked by the enemy carry. still continued playing him until I finally got the rhythm. now im divine 5 with 70 percent wintate with him. for this month around 50 games got 90 percent win rate. a little tip. dont follow those guides like tortellini blindly. adjust your items depending on the enemies. even as a pos 1 i go tp to help other lanes. and your number 1 friend is the mute button when you got those talkative types.

Solid list but I would put Kez a lot lower as Pos 1. He gets owned late game against almost any traditional carry. DK should be S tier. Luna and Medusa are knocked down atleast a tier in 7.37e. And I think Spectre should be higher, she still scales as good as anyone and her facet gives her really good kill potential at level 6

He’s only played as mid or offlane. You have to be able to farm fast to be a pos 1 carry in the current meta. Also there’s a few heroes like AA, Necro, Viper that shit on Huskar so you can only really last pick him

​@JohnnyP yea stats don't like. Below 50 winrate doesn't matter as an A tier carry, since thats how he makes the tierlist. Can't blame the tool, those who use it horribly pulls it down. And the world isn't ending, it's too early to judge, his tierlist isn't completely definitive anyway. There's a lot of time to figure him how to play. That says to all heroes, winrate doesnt matter and all can be played in full potential. Like how Pango gets the last laugh today since his release. Well see.

@@Hyuga_Natsu00 again youre using arguements that can be used on any hero. good players pull bad heroes to the top. that doesnt make sense. an example of a bad hero with bad winrate that you can understand is sven. Not necesarryly bad on paper but there are just too many other better heroes. thats it. so much better heroes than kez.

@JohnnyPaw the way you said is kez isnt belong to that tier, well its all just early speculations, we cant definitely say that he is polarizing because it has some wacky kits, players discovering perks and some finding it "has a great potentital with its own carry identity", that is why he is at that tier because it has potential disregarding the results aka new toy syndrome but compare it to ringmaster. Again, because its too early to conclude that he is 'bland' as what ringmaster was described (generally thats how they perceive). In that tier list, ursa also in that tier baffles me but I understand because its a meta issue, maybe they found ursa still has a potential in this ranged carry meta, putting WR metric doesnt help to describe them because Ursa, BB and Razor would be an anomaly there (based on his tier list). Theres no benefits from underestimating.

didnt win a single game with kez as pos 1 (ancient 4) in my team, even after a good lane and mid game, still bf and manta at 35 minute, and solo feeding on enemy territory because they think hero is unkillable, haha
