Deeds becomes Dust if these qualities are present 1. Associating partners with Allah (Shikr) 2. Showing-Off 3. Doesn't agree with Shariah (Believing that Islam is not Complete) 4. Going to Fortune-teller/Magician 5. Transgressing limits of Allah when you are alone 6. Reminding people about the favor one has done to them(multiple times) 7. Having a dog as pet in your house(there are 2 exceptions, i.e hunting or kept outside)

What a useful khutbah all praise to Allah...also the most important type of shirk is to allow someone to create laws which contradict Allah's law...That's real disaster because all of these so called islamic countries became apostates because of that particular shirk first...and if someone doesn't understand that he also is out of Islam...learn tawheed and Arabic which is wajib upon all muslims

I myself do not do this but I thought that the people who ask a wali ( a pious person, a friend) of Allah SWA who has passed, that they are asking the wali to ask Allah SWA for what they want by virtue of them being a wali. Ie intercede. They are not asking the dead person directly for anything as far as I am aware. They are asking that dead person to intercede and ask Allah SWA, it’s just like when any of us ask the Shayk please make dua for me etc. And if anyone reading this is asking the dead person for anything - stop! That is shirk! I believe we have direct line to Allah SWA. We can ask with humility and authenticity! May Allah SWA protect us from all forms of shirk. Aameen.

Sheikh I have a dog in my family, that is why I wanted to ask you, isn't the dog one of thouse animals that will be in Jannah? As a muslim our belove prophed Mahammad SAW tald us to be nice to all creatures of Allah (SWT) by his own example, isn't it so? May Allah Azzawajal grant you sheikh the highest place in Jannat ul firdous!

@@EPICMASJID We brought the dog (one month old 11 years ago) to our family because my two and the half year old daughter lied near the door and did not alow us to take the puppy back to our neighber. Now this dog will simply die if we give her to someone. When we used to leave her with someone for a couple of days, everyone complained that she refused food until we came back to pick her up. And to tell the truth it will be hard for us too to part from her in this point. Allah Alam nows everything, no one understands better than our Rab. Thank you sheikh anyways. I always watch all your khutbahs and WOW videos. Learn alot from you. May Allah (SWT) reward you for all your affords in dunya and hereafter. Ameen!

Deeds will become scattered dust on the Day of Judgement if: 1. Committing SHIRK 2. RIYA SHOWIN-OFF GOOD DEEDS 3. REJECTING RULES OF SHARIA (God's wisdom) 4. MAGIC/FORTUNE TELLERS (going to them/reading horoscope/tarot cards etc) 5. MAJOR SINS when you're ALONE (e.g watching/eating haram) 6. REMINDING PEOPLE OF FAVOURS. 7. KEEPING A PET DOG .

Assalam valekum rehamthullahi wabrakathuku Usthadh saheb. Love from India. I have one doubt from my childhood that why Allah thalah asked us to stay away from dog and not to keep it as pet. If we touch unknowingly then we have to do gusul and wadu to perform namaj. Why it is said so.. there is no clear view about it. Can you please explain in detail. Please as I have to teach my kids to stay away from dogs.

Allah is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful. The door of repentance is always open until we die so always ask for forgiveness and avoid doing past sins. May Allah SWT grant our souls His Mercy. He keeps His Promise, so be confident with your duaa. He forgives even the biggest sins.

So are you going to lead the blind? Blind people need the dog to guide them people with seizure disorder the dogs tell them when it's coming so they can get away from sharp and dangerous objects what about emotional support dogs helping a grieving mother in the loss of her children
