9:10 This reminds me of those big door locks in skyrim with the rotating mechanism. I don't know what it is about it, but I love it. I feel like, in theory, it could be possible to build a large locking mechanism using these parts, with a few regular 2x1's in a certain line to allow a sort of key/claw thing to engage the lock correctly.

Cause the fingers and thumbs are getting sore from building Legos. The upper part of the skin is getting hurt over the time and chipped off. Wearing gloves can delay this process a bit even though it shouldn't be able to completely prevent it from happening.

All parts are genuine, new, LEGO elements. I've not found a knock-off brand whose bricks can tolerate the stress I leverage consistently although my investigations have only been cursory. In my experience LEGO simply produces the best product for what I do.
