7:11 I think you can have another router after the Create folder so you don't have to duplicate the Create data folder, use the same modules for when you have a folder and when you create a folder.

I have 2 questions: 1) How yo you connect your gmail with your domain? 2) Why do you send some emails via gmail (via your domain) instead of activecampaign (also via your domain). Hey Matthias! Glad you like the video! 🙌 1) You can use Google's services with your own domain when you sign-up for Google Workspace. I'm, for example, also using it to store files online with Google Drive. 2) I like to send transactional email like order confirmation through Integromat because the email arrives faster than if I would send it with ActiveCampaign. Hope that answers your questions! 🙃

@@maxvcollenburg Thanks.I am referring to the case where you triggered an integromat workflow from within an active campaign automation to send one email from your gmail account. and you commented this with "i like if it looks like i am sending this manually". (maybe it was another video...) I don't understand this. Whats the benefit of not sending this through AC? Could you maybe elaborate?

@@matthiasbartels4286 ah, gotcha! An automated email with ActiveCampaign looks slightly different because it has the whole unsubscribe footer. My thought with sending a short email to ask for feedback with Gmail was that it doesn't look automated because it doesn't have such a footer. And it worked, because more people started replying 💪😄

But that would not make any sense for me if activecampaign and gmail both use the same domain settings. Or do you think there is indeed a difference?

Hi Max, thank you for your useful tutorial. I have a question. I’m trying to connect Airtable and Active Campaign via Integromat. What I’m trying to do is if I delete a contact record either on Airtable or Active Campaign I would like this contact to be deleted on both sides. Unfortunately it seems that at the moment the only “watch” of Airtable and Active Campaign are on created and updated contact. How can I achieve this? I hope it s clear. If i delete a contact from my Airtable base i want that this contact its deleted also from AC and vice versa … thank you very much for your help!

Hey Rodolfo! I'm not exactly sure about this because I don't think ActiveCampaign triggers anything if a contact gets completely deleted. Isn't it maybe easier to unsubscribe people instead of deleting them completely? If so, you could maybe use a "Status" column in Airtable that you update to Subscribed or Unsubscribed. Hope that helps!

Is it possible to trigger a scenario in a scenario? I want to start a scenario via iOS buttons. So I start with "watch button" and this should execute a certain scenario.

Hey Daydreamer! There's two ways you could try; 1) In the second scenario, use a webhook module to start with. Then, in the first module, use a HTTP module to send data to that webhook. That way, the second scenario starts when it gets data from the first one. 2) Use the native Make module to turn scheduling off, and then back on again. That way, the scenario will run once. Hope that helps!

Regarding the automation with Thrivecart, why make this in Integromat and not in Active Campaign? I mean, with Thrivecart you can add a customer directly to an AC automation and then inside this you can setup all, send an email, add to googleshet...ecc.. in your opinion its better to manage all this task in Integromat than inside AC? thank you!

Hey Rodolfo! Good question! I was doing this through ActiveCampaign at first, but I noticed that it sometimes takes 10-15 minutes before an email is delivered that way. People would start emailing me because they didn't get an email with their login details yet, or in some cases it would land in their spam folder. Now that I switched to delivering the email this way, it gets delivered almost instantly and I didn't get any emails about it anymore. So I think ActiveCampaign is awesome for marketing emails, but not so great for transactional emails. Hope that makes sense!

So your advise its to manage all inside integromat...At the Moment, when someone buy a course on thrivecart I add the contact to a AC post purchase automation and also to the Demio event...from what I ve seen, you suggest to disable these Thrivecart native integrations and manage all with a Thrivecart webhook as a trigger...

In my case it worked better to send the purchase confirmation email through Integromat as it's faster. However, I'm still adding these people as contacts to ActiveCampaign with tags about what someone purchases, and I'll also add them to an accountability automation that sends emails during the course 🙃
