It’s all about the tuning, these trucks are made to last so the focus is not on performance as much as it is on reliability, one you tune the truck thou, and at your own discretion because many warranty’s do not cover a tuned up truck, you will see a big improvement.

Tacomas right now have $3,000 - $5,000 mark up due to market demand. My 2021 Tacoma Off Road 4x4 with the 6 speed manual was $56k after taxes and registration. Adding accessories and lift. Its a $75k rig

Oh man, that truck rocks, I was looking for a video for ideas for my off road tacoma that I HAVEN'T BOUGHT YET.😂But am looking at one at dealers. At moment I own a dodge Dakota sport with added hood scoops, lift kit, big mud tires, extra pin stripping, very sharp looking truck but getting old its a 2001. He's going to have to re-gear, another 3- $4000 to do both boxes front and back. Also when you want 35s with offsets you put a lot of wear and tear on your bearings and breaks and your gas mileage sucks. I think from 33's to 35s there's another hundred pounds of rubber on each tire. And if you don't re- gear your drivetrain works harder and you're gonna wear that out a lot faster. A super charger is great but there's a lot of negatives on the tail end of that. You better make sure whoever installs it knows their shit.

Ive got the BDS 6" kit without COs I put it on a brand new TRD OR. Figured id keep the stock bilsteins for awhile since they were brand new and I paid for them. Sad thing about this kit is you have to run at least 18 inch rims. Wish I could've gotten 16 or 17s but 18s with 35s still look pretty damn good. Not a fan of the 20s but to each their own. The BDS kit though is great and looks the best of any drop bracket kit. I wanted the extra breakover clearance and it works perfectly for that. Gone pretty hard on it. If you're going to go past 3 Inches don't go anything but BDS.

Why do you have to run an 18?? Im on a six inch lift on 17's? If you got the wheel offset wheel diameter doesn't matter as long as you clear the caliper and rotors

This guy is a deuchebag. He has a couple aesthetic bolt-ons and he acts like it’s some incredible build. Guarantee he had a shop install his lift kit. I do completely understand "to each his own." I'm too utilitarian minded to understand vehicles like these. For the money spent here, I can have solid, reliable, economical daily driver, a very fast, great handling street car, and an incredibly capable off road rig. All without tacky cosmetic modifications.

Sick truck. Love the exterior look, lift, tires and bumper. Not a huge fan of the interior but to each their own. Double thumbs up for the 6 spd. I have a 2018 Taco and easily have spent $25K in mods too. You get what you pay for and you can't beat the value & dependability of a Toyota. FYI a decked out Jeep Gladiator Rubicon will cost around $64K for comparison.

JR LaVallee, MD I feels! All personal preference. I love the 6 speed. I recently got a 5.29 re gear done and it’s sitting in my garage and I’m on vacation so I can’t drive it yet but I’m so stoked to see how much better it drives with the re gear when I get home

Gladiator rubicon is $64k loaded stock.... with upgrades and you’ll be in the 85-90k range easy. Makes our Tacoma’s look cheap!
