Couldn’t agree more. My raw goats’ milk/yogurt/cheese is far superior to anything in the grocery store. Same with my duck eggs. Some people have successfully been brainwashed and driven into the basement by the plandemic and other planned scare tactics, instead of placing their trust in the Creator of heaven and earth and all that in them is.
@8_six7_five3_09Ай бұрын
Eggs would probably be safer unpasteurized and they would last longer without refrigeration. Being lactose intolerant, my milk usage is not so much, so I don't know. My dairy farmer friends say raw milk is the deal, but I suspect part of the truth, if any, in that is that it's their milk. They know and care for the animals personally and handle everything start to finish. Hell, their barn is so dang clean if you didn't see the animals, you'd wonder whether they actually had any.
@ellenlefavour628Ай бұрын
@@8_six7_five3_09 Try goats milk. It has much less lactose than cows milk and is much more easily digested by people lactose intolerant. I have goats so daily have fresh, raw goats milk (as does my dog who loves it), and fresh made yogurt and cheese. If you can find a source for fresh goats milk, try it. If not, store bought goat milk is still better than cow milk, although it doesn’t taste as delicious as fresh from the goat raw.

The prepackaged meats are actually the best. The butcher cuts are prone to get contaminated from all kinds of germs from the store employees. Besides, you're getting wet or dry aged meats. The longer it sits, the meat gets tenderized and flavors added. The funky smell comes from the aging process. You'll pay 150 dollars a steak for a well aged steaks

I have never had a problem with ANY meats from Aldi. I agree with Kimberly O’Brien. That bright red color can be dye used to make the meat look more appealing. Also, not everyone can afford to purchase meat from a butcher. As far as I can tell if you can afford to purchase meat from a butcher you are certainly not working with a budget. Also, we all have noses. As long you are not nose blind you can tell if you are picking up fresh meat. Locations like Sprouts, Winco, and HEB are clearly the locations you are pushing and according to those of us on a budget it is unaffordable.

When I shopped at WinCo years ago, it was one of the cheapest stores in my area. Not sure how it is there since I last shopped there in early 2011. When I shopped at Aldi in Germany, everything there was so fresh and tasty, but food in Germany is much more heavily regulated than it is here and a lot cheaper, too. Here, the FDA allows 19 maggots in a can of mushrooms, toxic chemicals, like sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium acid pyrophosphate, petroleum based colors, like the red color big store butchers put on their steaks and ground beef, and toxic preservatives, like BHA, BHT, propyl gallate, propylene glycol, and sodium benzoate, and different forms of MSG that are banned in many countries, like disodium guaylanate and disodium inousinate. If the other countries can sell food without those ingredients, why are we forced to eat that garbage. Most Americans don't know how bad those ingredients are.

I grew up on a large farm/ranch and we raised our own meats , vegetables and fruits and caught our own fish. There was 9 of us children and no one was ever sick !!!! Today's market foods contain dangerous dyes, chemicals and harmones plus nitrates and nutrates that are slowly killing us. I am extremely careful when shopping for our food. I am picky and don't use any kind of services that pick out the food and deliver it to our home. We are 84 and 74 and don't have any organ damages or diseases from eating bad food. Always use a vegetable and fruit cleaning solution before eating your produce. Put your meats into the freezer as soon as you get them home and check the dates on all packaging before buying. Buy cage free eggs. Keep them in the fridge. Be smart !!

My local Safeway applies an artificial, petroleum-based red dye to cover browning steaks and browning ground beef, easy to see when you buy their large value packs, and most of the cuts of steak there are as tough as shoe leather, even if I marinate the steaks overnight up to 24 hours. The only cut worth buying there are their ribeye steaks. I cooked London broils when I was in college here in my city on a regular basis and they were always juicy and easy to chew. My local Safeway's London broil steaks are always tough and hard to chew, very disappointing. I will buy my steaks elsewhere going forward. My best friend raves over Sprouts and her favorite local butcher, but so far the cuts of meat I bought at that butcher shop were very disappointing so far, considering the higher than average prices. Meat prices at Walmart here are high and don't look very "fresh" while Target and Trader Joes have a smaller selection of "fresh" meat, so I don't waste my time there looking for raw meat, but Target's Italian sausage is actually really good when I add white pepper to it, is the only meat I currently ever buy there. Gosh, I miss WinCo foods. They had the best eggs I ever had there, but I rarely ever bought fresh meat there. I pretty much bought all of my meat at Costco back then.

Location Location Location Aldi, like so many grocery giants, draws its meat from suppliers scattered across the vast expanse of the United States. Yet, hidden behind the bright lights and gleaming aisles, there’s a darker side to this journey. In certain states and remote corners of the country, the processing plants-places where meat is cut, packed, and shipped-are nothing short of disastrous. Poor conditions, low standards, and questionable oversight taint the very heart of the process. And so, stores like Aldi, along with countless others, find themselves linked to these subpar sources, selling meat that, while neatly packaged, carries with it the shadow of those grim facilities. Even supermarket chains with more familiar names, like King Soopers-part of the sprawling Kroger empire-aren’t immune. Despite their size and reputation, their management practices, too, have been called into question. It seems that in the rush to stock shelves and feed the masses, something critical has been lost along the way.

@8_six7_five3_09Ай бұрын
If you're talking about whole cuts of meat, as opposed to specially created items, then meat glued products are very easy to identify. They usually contain scraps, and when cooked, you can usually dect or see separation, odd changes in the meat fibers or their direction, etc. It's only bad if someone is trying to trick you into believing you're buying something you're not. Otherwise, from a culinary creativity standpoint, you can do some pretty cool things with it.
