I had an Atari 800 before getting a Commodore 64. It was the SID chip that sold me. I did music on the Atari 800, but an analog synthesizer similar to a Moog, how can I resist?

Is anyone going.to make a c64 game with these awesome effects?

Generally, these types of demos use up all the available CPU and memory. There would be no room left for player input, AI routines, or any of the other aspects that would actually make it an interactive game.

Not possible, the graphics & sound take up all the cpu power in hi-res mode….

Definitely not impossible to use some optimizations from demo effects in games. But to allow for game mechanics, it would require some compromizes, which demo coders generally aren't too happy about.
