I love the Bowie Knife for reference line. We should use this as a standard unit of measurement!
@AtmoTacOutdoors Жыл бұрын
I’ve used it to measure many times, the edge on the blade is exactly 10” and total length is 16” so it gives a great unit of measurement when you ain’t got a tape handy 😂

Excellent job on this.I just got my max50 and I'd love to know where to buy those round ball and nsa slugs you have.Keep those videos coming.thanks
@AtmoTacOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Thank you man much appreciated! You can get .495 round balls from hornady that are fairly cheap. (You can even load 2 at a time in the HP and element max and they impact 1/2 - 1” apart out to 50yd which is really awesome) the nsa slugs can be found at nielsenspecialtyammo.com

That really is solid gel , because I've seen this rifle go much further through. That gel is definitely the real deal .

Yeah it’s 10%, but it was kind of cold that day. Maybe that made it tougher

Why so close, you’ll never be that close to game for those results. Should have been at least 30 yards away for accurate in the field hunting data

You’re right, that’s why I made a second video right after this with a 100yd test, I wanted to show the results at the muzzle too to give a good baseline

What bipod and bottle clamp you using? I find the saber tactical one is not stable as a "half" clamp and tneds to wabble a little with my bipod.
@AtmoTacOutdoors Жыл бұрын
I make these myself. It’s one of my 3d printed designs, I make some that clamp down and also some that just slide over the tank with a tight fit

Man I’m stuck deciding on an aea element 50 or an umarex hammer 50 carbine…. I’m leaning toward the hammer 50 because I like the fact it has a two shot magazine.
@AtmoTacOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Ooh that’s a tough one.. the hammer carbine looks awesome too, it’s definitely on my list to get soon. I guess the other factor you can look at is weight. The hammer weighs 8.2lbs with no optic and the element max weighs 5.1lbs. But yeah a quick follow up shot is important to! The hammer will give you a bit more power as well

I love my element max I replaced the valve spring from wolf firearms as well as the hammer spring it’s now shooting 930 and 980 fps now. No air dump or valve bounce that it had with the factory springs.
