Only thing he's credited with is being the creator and spinner of mantra, aka the energy source that Asura and the Seven Deities used. He's powerful, but not that powerful.

Fun fact: that tiny floating child is Young Psycho Mantis, just in case any fans of the series were curious and unsure at the same time. The amount of series callbacks in TPP is astounding: Raiden travels back to the '80s due to Kojima craziness, Young Psycho Mantis helps Eli put his future plans in place, The Man on Fire is actually Volgin from MGS 3, they're are probably a few others I missed.

At the time that I first heard that line, one of the Green brothers from here on KZbin had released a book called Turtle All the Way Down. I could tell Ignis was making a reference as the game was full of them for the North American version (like Ardyn hilariously quoting the Life Alert commercials), but I still haven't checked out what Ignis was giving a pun to...I know it wasn't Hank Green's book.

What supports that turtle? Another turtle. And so on to infinity. It got a little more notoriety with Terry Pratchett's Discworld series, where a flat world is supported on the backs of four (was five, there's a book specifically about that) elephants, who in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle. Stephen Hawking even references it in A Brief History of Time.

Gotta say, fighting a Reaper straight up in Mass Effect 3 made me feel like i was FINALLY man enough for Garrus! It doesn't really matter if it's the Tuchanka Reaper, where you try not to get squashed by a building size giant sentient robot with lasers, by sicking the world biggest and angriest worm on it, or the one-on-one fight on Rannoch, where it's just you and a guiding laser against another Reaper of the same type. These things can demolish entire cities, and you are expected to fight it alone, no cover (in a cover shooter), with what is basicly a giant laserpointer!

The game was actually the best in combat, difficulty curve, gripping story and everything. 20/10. Right up until the last 10 minutes. And if Mass Effect : Andromeda had done better we would have that genre.

@@shashwatsharma2596 3 is my personal favorite. 1 has an amazing story, and sets in motion one of my favorite franchises, but the shooting mechanics, PAINFULLY long cooldown timers on abilities and rather boring sideplanets didn't really do it for me, and 1 is probably my least favorite overall. 2 makes a HUGE leap in quality, with smooth and satisfying combat, and some of the best characters in an RPG ever. However, the story felt really bland, as the gameplay focus was on each character for the most part, and the story never really surprises or throws you a curveball at any point. The goal right from the start is to gather a team and stop the Collectors, and you just... do that... Honestly, the DLC is what saved the game for me, as both taking down the Shadow Broker and doing full solo mission in Arrival was some of the best fun i had in the game! 3 was the best overall package. The story keeps you guessing, and on my first playthrough, i was VERY engrosed in what the Crucible actually did. The characters were just as good as in 2, and the battle mechanics were better suited for what an all out war would bring with it's chaos and constant threat of an ambush. And just like with 2, the DLC was AMAZING to play through... We get to FINALLY see a real Prothean. We get some backstory on Leviathan and the dawn of the Reapers, and we get to have a fun time partying with our entire team on the Citadel. Even if the ending didn't quite stick the landing, the final 10 minutes didn't really ruin the game for me, as i already felt like my entire team had already gotten their "endings" during each of the missions we meet them on, and the ending was just a sort of final sendoff...

@@skynet0912 I played ME 2 first. Loved it so much that decided to do a full trilogy playthrough. ME 1 was good, ME 2 was perfect, ME 3 was perfection perfected, but when I got to the ending of that epic saga I was devastated, I didn't know that shooting the hologram was an ending but I did it because I was pissed off. Never went back. Seriously, 3 different coloured endings is the best that they could do? I played as Adept(biotic expert) in 2 and 3, the addition of biotic explosions in 3 was genius, the physics of biotics was *chef's kiss* and after a little bit of hard work the cooldown was reduced to a considerable level, throw/pull had fastest cooldowns(less than 2 seconds) and others had a bit longer. By the end I was feeling like a Biotic Deity, the arena in DLC was a breeze and got the special armour as well. I got good. If I get 3 wishes first would be a new equally good ME game, there's nothing like that. Morality sys, branching dialogue options, tons of character development for everyone including DLC characters Zaeed and that ghost thief lady, it even had romance options, and actions ACTUALLY had a consequences (except the ending). Fun fact: I put my character's first name as German, get the joke?

@@shashwatsharma2596 I actually played 2 first too, as i didn't have a good PC at the time, and i only had a PS3... I didn't get to play 1 until the Trilogy Collection came out... And by that pont, the shooting mechanics wer ANCIENT compared to 2 and 3. As i said, 3 is my favorite because it strikes the right balance between story, characters and gameplay. It also helps that the ending never really bothered me, as i was always under the impression that i wasn't going to see Grunt, Wrex, Jack and all the others again after the game ended, and that the story we get from them in the missions like helping Jack save her students and Jacob save his friends and family served as the actual endings for them... So when the pre-Extended Cut ending happended, and i didn't see everyone again, it wasn't really a surprise to me. Now, if you DIDN'T see their missions as an ending for them, then i can understand the frustrations, but since i did view it like that from the start, the ending didn't really ruin anything for me...

It always amazes me when, in a list about boss sizes, Wyzen is the one always mentioned, when Chakravartin easily surpasses him, being so large that he can be seen all the way in the center of the universe.

Biggest bosses n relation to the player. Wyzen is larger to Azura, than Vartan is by the end of the game. As Asura himself grows exponentially by that point.

The whole Kronos fight just reminds me of the first elder dragon in Monster Hunter World: Zorah Magdaros. It just casually shrugs entire ships off its back and you have to run around its hide punching lava rocks, shoot it with cannons, shoot it with ballistae, and fight another elder dragon on top of it. And I don't think it ever noticed.

Nier:Automata has a fair share of these. Earlier on you get Engels who after defeating by chopping him off with his own equally gigantic excavator arm, you get to explore his building-sized blown up torso and have a chat with his now docile AI while doing so. But then later on you meet Grun who's so large that what everyone thought was Grun was just its head. This boss when standing up is a ludicrous 1km tall and when you do defeat it, is seen later on in the distance of one part of the map as being taller than some skyscrapers.

In ME: Andromeda there's a big ol' robo-worm thing that's pretty impressive. It's been a while though so I don't remember whether it was bigger than the thresher maw, but it was a more difficult fight.

I was a game tester on Force Unleashed, it was like a rite of passage among the testing team to be assigned to and complete the Star Destroyer. I remember the first time I did it, the slow slow progress made it feel like I was personally doing it, leaving me huffing and puffing from effort/the expenditure of adrenaline.

Check, spawns more enemies? Check, one bs sword that does like half your health per swing in each combo? Check, does he get closer the longer the fight goes on giving you less of a safe area to dodge his black mist to the point where getting hit by it is inevitable? Check Yeah, lotsa BS-

Okay, I've not bothered to ever fight him like that but now I want to! I saw a video of someone using that attack of the Ring on Ardyn and it was hilarious. I usually farm the adamantoise for adamantite or something, which when making spells, it lets you get like, a quantity of 50 or something. So, I try to one-shot him. But sucking the life out of him slowly and painfully sounds more interesting :)

Surprised that Titan, Leviathan and the Zu from FFXV didn’t get any mention along side the Adamantoise! The latter three are the only other size 3 enemies in the entire game and when you fight Titan and Leviathan it’s particularly intense since both of them are literal GODS that could easily smite you if they really wanted to...that and Yoko Shimomura’s soundtrack just help to intensify everything :D

Most of the ones in Super Smash Bros Brawl - specifically, though, the ones you have to fight twice: Porky, who's initially invulnerable; the rhino-like dude, whom you fight in two groups; and the exterior portion of Metaknight's ship level, where you don't only fight a conjoined boss at the end, but also technically the ship itself and gravity alike. They even scale down the heights of your parties for some of the segments.
