5:02 stands in opposition to the 1st trick. Personally, I prefer to use a larger diameter drill to prepare the space for the screw head. What's the reason for hassling with a clumsy tool, while there are so many drills in the toolbox?

@@p46967 Many years ago in the 1960’s while working as a maintenance fitter for a very famous and prestigious shell bearing manufacturer in the UK, I witnessed a guy, who got his, (at the time fashionable) long hair caught in a drilling machine, fortunately for him he only got scalped at the front of his head, he was off work many weeks, he also had a hard time making a claim for compensation, as he had had several warnings about keeping his hair tied back, but of course he knew better.
