It feels so good to be back! Now I get to be a real "KZbinr" haha. Gonna record the next video TODAY. Btw, which 3 courses did you do, and which one was your favorite?

@@TheEnglishCoach Today ? Well done ! 🎉 Idid the Basic to brilliant vocabulary course and the Fluency challenge twice. Obviously, I did the 7 day pronunciation challenge as well. I don't have a favourite one, I like the required dedication in the vocab one and the challenge is amazingly powerful. I like the way your courses are very complementary. I'm thinking to reach the next Daily English Program...depending on when it happens. 😊
@TheEnglishCoach
@TheEnglishCoach Жыл бұрын
@@nellygs702 Yes, TODAY! haha. That's the plan anyway. I'm working on the outline and I just told Ren, "OMG this is gonna be another 30 minute video" haha... I have so much to share! Anyway, if you loved the challenges and vocab course, I think the Daily English Program will be a perfect next step for you, especially because we have LEVEL 2 and, combined, they would be 6 months of intense English study & practice. And yeah, I designed the courses to work together because I realized one wasn't enough to help my students in all the ways they needed support. But it also makes sense because when we study something at a university, we take MULTIPLE courses to learn about the subject in depth and get a degree. For now, I'm done making courses, but if I ever made another one, I think I'd want it to be about grammar... however, instead of teaching that in a structured program, I might just teach it here on KZbin. We'll see! haha.

As an English learner, who lives in a non-English speaking country, I can say that speaking is the most challenging part for me. It's really hard to be relaxed and just go with the flow and speak. I have this fear that in the middle of the sentence I will forget a certain word and will freeze panicking. Maybe that has something with the fact that I am a self-conscious person in my everyday life. Nevertheless, I started an English-speaking job and now I try to overcome my fears and see it as an opportunity to become better at the language. After all, the best way to learn something is to leave your comfort zone and practising it, not being afraid of your mistakes.

I completely agree that we don't have to stick to the idea of "talking only with native speakers" to improve our English. Just like you said, everyone has their own strengths and actually, I learnt good phrases and vocabulary from non native speakers. I hear them or read them and then I look them up and once I make sure they're correct, I start using them :) Thank you! 🌹

Stefanie, I’m so happy you returned to KZbin! 🎉 In a nutshell, this video was an awakening to get back to English practice. I loved how you presented new ways to keep learning English. I will take action by talking to anyone and make my bullet journal as writing & visualization is key to using vocabulary. I really gotta read more often and diversify my content because it’s awkward when you’re in a conversation and you have nothing to say as you haven’t read about a particular topic. Thank you for making this video, best wishes to you and your family 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦.
