Rob presents our list of 7 brutally hard bronze trophies that could easily be golds. We’ve nothing against hard PlayStation trophies, as long as they respect our effort with silver or gold. These bronze trophies are not so kind. How many have you earned?

I was waiting for Rob to mention 3D Brawler. The amount of ATB you earn for hitting Sephiroth is minuscule compared to what he earns. I eventually managed it, but only with the help of a guide. Wait till you get to Middle Manager's side quest on Hard Mode. The Battle at the colosseum is really tough. Fun thought: to have your polygonal avatar appear in 3D Brawler, presumably you have to play the game. That means that at some point Sephiroth has gone to the Gold Saucer to play arcade games.

The bloodlust Trophy in Final Fantasy 9...nearly 24 hours pure Grinding even if you are near the end of the Game for killing 10.000 enemies.

Legendary Gardener on NieR Replicant (2021). Even with timezone manipulation, this trophy requires AT LEAST 4 days of real world time, a lot of planning, and a HUGE amount of luck. The platinum for this game is no joke.

Many of the Souls and Souls like games only award bronze for the great majority of bossed, even difficult ones. In almost all of the difficuoty trophies on DMC5 it's a bronze as well. :(

I've somehow unlocked the 3D Brawler Sephiroth, but I can never tell the difference between a Straight and a Hook in that minigame so any run where I have to deal with those is a bloody nightmare. I still hate Glide de Chocobo more though, and that doesn't even have its own trophy.

Final Fantasy XIV on PS5 has Bronze Trophies for: - Completing 2,000 Dungeons/Raids/Trials - Completing 3,000 Fates - Crafting 5,000 Collectibles - Gathering 8,000 Collectibles So a fair few time sinks... yes I have them all.

#podsquad I think I speak for everyone when I say WE LOVE THE FRIDAY FEATURES! LONG LIVE THE FRIDAY FEATURES! I hope Rob is enjoying going back to his Access roots by writing and making these again. I started watching Access because of them (9/10 years ago when they weren't even called Friday Features!) and there's nothing quite like the humour and skits that you splice into these lists videos. Also, serious credit to the CGI - hilarious and impressive (for a special effects comparison, I had just watched one from 9 years ago where Nathan voices a paper towel with a face drawn on and a voice like Andy Murray - absolutely classic mind). Anyway thanks Rob and the team - the hard work is not going unappreciated!

Hello, you've caught me reminiscing about the last bronze trophy that made me want to tear my hair out. "Hardcore Risette Fan" from Persona 4 Golden. On paper it's exceedingly simple, "Hear 250 of Rise's navigation lines". In execution you'd have more luck winning the lottery than unlocking this trophy through regular gameplay. Any trophy that requires you to keep a literal spreadsheet of every possible dialogue line including the circumstances in which they are said and using that as a checklist in order to keep track of progress and serve as a reminder of possible tasks to reach that final milestone SHOULD NOT BE CLASSIFIED AS F*CKING BRONZE! This one trophy made my New Game Plus playthrough, the run that should have been an absolute steamroll through the combat and free time, take LONGER than the regular playthrough.

Somewhere in my memory, I seem to remember that there was a trophy like this in Persona 5 with Futaba, and it was not fun to get that one. I have also heard somewhere, that one of the Persona 3 games on PSP, also had a trophy like this with Fuuka.

Two words: Mein Leben. It's German for 'My Life' and it's a bronze in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, and all you have to do is beat the game without dying on it's hardest difficulty. I've done it once and I'm never doing it again.

I'm currently working on getting the Platinum Trophy in every Kingdom Hearts game, and Birth By Sleep has become my bane. Three Bronze trophies that are pure evil, and all intertwined. Complete all reports with Terra, Ventus, and Aqua. Seems easy enough until you realise to get the last report entry, you need to beat all of the Super Bosses...with each character...and Young Xehanort is seen as the worst Super Boss across all the games. Also the Bronze Trophy for getting a Fantastic rating in every Ice Cream Beat song on Master Difficulty.

I'm working on the plat and I got that on my second playthrough, it really isn't that hard. The only thing I'm scared of is the Tactician playthrough, it took me four playthroughs to even beat the game on Balanced without switching to Explorer halfway through

​@tabeatamm3594 Bit of advice, the game doesn't care what type of ending you get or how you managed to get to the end of act 3. A surprising amount of potential fights can be avoided by saying the right things to the right people. Also, long rests cost an arm and a leg on tactician, but traveling between regions, which grants you the exact same benefits, is free of charge. And finally, if you don't care for Gale all that much, he is basically a press to win button during the final fight.

Pause is your friend for beating Sephiroth. Each time he pulls his arm back - pause. You will have to learn some of his patterns when he goes beserk but that is relativley simple enough. Yeah it's a cheese but it works 😅

Rebirth: While I agree that 3D Brawler is a ****** game when played Dev Intended (tm), prodigious use of the pause button and a reference sheet makes it quite easy. Show me someone who claimed to have beaten it legitimately, and I will show you a Lier, or a God masquerading as a Man. My vote is the Piano Minigame, since it CAN'T be cheesed.

I hate the pull up challenge on final fantasy 7 remake. Also COD MW1 run the ship tutorial in 15 seconds, COD MW2 run the pit in under 30 seconds despite completing the game on veteran. I hate one stupid skill based trophy robbing me of a bronze if I’ve done the hard work. Never done these trophies and they stopped me getting 6 platinums (PS3, PS4 and PS5).

FF7 Rebirth S-rank piano and all minigames is not that difficult. I obtained all Johnny's treasure except for the brutal/legendary simulator and hard mode. FF7 Remake simulator is doable (and plat-ed) but the Rebirth on is not funny. A game shouldn't be harder than life.

For the UPA on FF7: Rebirth, pause between each punch. It gives you a much better chance of figuring what sort of punch it is. :-)

I've been using this trick but it's still so difficult to learn what each punch looks like

@@mulukh7 general rule of thumb is to match what the opponent is doing. if the opponent is winding up the punch upwards then you tilt the stick up. if they are making a downward movement then tilt the stick down. the tells are pretty obvious after a couple of rounds. with the pause button it's definitely doable. might take quite a few tries but it's nowhere near the most frustrating minigame.

I got platinum for Nioh 1 so I probably done the Destroyer of demon, maybe. As for my nephew, he did get the Grim Reaper trophy and platinumed both Resident evil 2 and 3. His secret? He memorized the route and ran like hell itself chasing him. I think quite a few games has bronze that should be gold. Especially the trophy to finish the game in harder modes. Those should be in Silver or Gold.

It's an oldy, but Battlefield bad Company 2 had a bronze trophy for getting 10 demolition kills (due to the game's fun destructible environments). You basically had to play the game wrong, wasting your time, lowering your team's chances of winning in order to get it. Demo kills were as rare as a Rob video with no MGS reference. And you needed 10 of them.

I know this is about difficulty but for a grind trophy Disney dreamlight valley has a bronze trophy called thorn cleaner that requires to remove 3k thorns. 500 are through the story the other 2.5k is spread through logging in daily where the max is 10 a day and it’s RNG so you could get 3 one day and maybe 4 the next but 10 is the max. Think about how many days that takes…

Gta 3 definitive Edition , Escape Artist . This trophy requires you to collect 20 police bribes which is pretty easy because it doesn't have to be all in one go but it should be gold because it's Ultra Rare . Apparently I'm one of only 2% who have done it .
