One of the most relatable Friday Features to date. “Oh honey I’m tired. I’m going to bed early.” (Perfect) “okay good night!”
@ShadowofPince8 ай бұрын
Midway of that sentence I usually have turned on my PS5, controller in hand, scrolling through menus picking a game and going "Ok! I'll stay up for a while longer." Then about two hours later, the phone rings "When are you coming to bed?" 'I'll just need to get to a save point."(which are pretty much nonexistent in games these days, but that excuse gives a few extra minutes of gaming.)

My husband and I are both gamers, and one dilemma I find is trying to avoid spoilers when we're both playing the same game but at different times or one is getting further than the other. We also have two children, our eldest who seems to have been born a gamer and never stopped lol, so we're basically a gaming family. I personally would never have got with a non-gamer because gaming has been a love of mine since I was about 4 and it's amazing to share the hobby and talk about it together. If we go on holiday, we always take a portable with us such as the Switch or Steam Deck so we can play occasionally.

The other she’s texted me after visiting a friend, “the hang was great!” was the intended text, which autocorrect changed to “the gang” Which then she corrected and immideatly followed up with “I was never in Blackwater, I just have an unfortunate face!” And I have spent that entire day in tears of joy I am so so sorry for rambling here but, Rob, THANK YOU, for making me have this moment of reflection on just how lucky I am.
