I chose to purchase the Radmission Mid-Step(Rad Power Bike). It has 1 gear, which means less maintenance, but can range up to 50 miles pedal-assist. It only cost 1099. You also get full support from the company if you ever need repairs, and in some areas, they can even come to your house.

I bought the Benelli Mantus 500 for $1699 before tax more like $1800. Great ride. Honestly its my first ebike, but I love it. Havent even taken it on any trails, but it gets to like 22/23(MPH) on its own, but you can definitely get it up to like 25/27(MPH) if you pedal like mad or hit some good hills. It advertises 70km battery life on eco mode 48V/10.5AH (504WH) Lithium ion battery pack. I would recommend it. I'm poor as dirt, but I got myself one. Best bike ive ever had.

Are all the brand-name components really worth the cost? Most of this list seems like a series of cheap ads. They do not even give any real range information. And, they say these have good performance. But, 250W is a joke for a 200lb man. EDIT: It seems that in Europe the motors are limited to 250W, maybe 350W now.
@Austin19902 жыл бұрын
@@cvcoco That is sad. Buying a bike not made in China probably would not matter either. I'd rather sell my bike and get the Yamaha electric bike. It's not only the price that matters to me. The distance along with the battery quality and body design matter to me too as well. According to physics if you ride with your bike leaning forward, you can have less air resistance. This means a lot if you know what air and wind resistance is.
@neilcaress90364 жыл бұрын
Range is also dependent on power mode, body weight and loading, gradients, riding style, wind factor and braking and accelerating in town conditions.
@Mohammad_Ali__4 жыл бұрын
@@neilcaress9036 this also depends on how the weight is spread on the bike. The distance a these bikes can carry also depends upon the weight of each material, including steering, bike wheel thickness (which the the thicker it gets the more grip and friction is added), the climate, the bikes’ battery type and battery quality (e.g: which company made such battery).
@neilcaress90364 жыл бұрын
@@Mohammad_Ali__ Yes of course all those things: but they factors that are "built into the bike' that you are buying. I was referring to the 'external' things that affect the given ranges that are not always mentioned by every dealer. I often see bikes described as having a range of up to 75 miles, for instance, which is a purely theoretical best performance in 'eco' mode on a good road surface with no serious gradients and an experienced rider of 150-165 lbs and no head wind. Looking at the specifications for motor, battery capacity, style of bike, etc. anyone with awareness like yourself can judge whether it is a true indication of range. In normal life the range is far more likely to be anything from 30-55 miles.

I bought my Lectric XP in January 2020 to get rid of excess weight. I ended up losing 77 pounds, and my legs are like tree trunks. I have 2 batteries and have travelled 65 miles round trip. I currently have 2400 miles on my ebike. Life is great... or, was great. Last week, at 2400 miles, the bike broke down electronically. Left me stranded, twice. Had to walk home several miles. Lectric company says it’s still under warranty, but will take a long time to get the part needed to fix. Coming from China and from I got from the tech, this prob is happening to thousands of Lectric bikes. So, I stop riding for how long? A month, maybe2 or 3.... I don’t think so. I am going to buy another bike from another brand cuz this one is no longer reliable. It’s just taking up space in my bike barn. The unfortunate part is I just finished building my solar bike barn so my bike is propelled by sun and keto... I hope Lectric realizes that my warranty is on pause until it is fixed. They can’t take a month or several months and expect the warranty to keep running. So, if u want this bike, I totally recommend it. Just have secondary transportation and Uber on stand by. P.s. no public transportation where I live. ur on ur own here

Made in China? Maybe some day they will have a quality Control division that does field testing as well in that way they will know what is good and what is bad? Try Taiwan their quality is first class.
