Your cards look fun, the colors really make everything pop! So, you mentioned adding copic retailers; Violeta Ink. It’s a small business that sells copic markers for $5.85 a piece. She also sells refills and nibs. She also sells single prisma color pencils, not sure of price. She usually has a 10% coupon code each month to save additionally. This is all she sells. Her service is great, I have never felt as if I’ve had to wait for my order. She also has this Awesome purple envelope that your invoice is placed in!

I have only a very few Copic markers (but many other alcohol markers), but yeah, I ordered the 7 markers that you suggested in this video! I figured if they are good enough for you, they will be fine for me too! They are all colors that I would use also. The brightness of the yellow marker really impressed me too. I love this stamp set so much. I love hummingbirds and fuchsias so much. The very colorful hummingbirds are males and the bland colored ones are the females. Reason being is so the males color will draw the attention of predators so they will follow them and leave the females alone while they are on the nest. Thank you for another awesome video.

Such pretty cards. I love the pink and yellow one! He is the happy bird :) Blick also has great prices on Copic refills and free shipping over $50. so I always order the $50. when I order. I have a Blick store here but I haven't been in the store in awhile. I got most of my Copics there when I was getting them. I should go back and see if the prices are the same in the store. Last time I was there they were out of the colors I needed. So online is best I think

I didn’t know what I was doing when I started buying them & just picked colors I liked when I had a coupon. So didn’t end up with good ones to blend. Also, thank you for sharing your comprehensive list. I tried to understand Sandy Alnock’s, hexagon chart, but it is too confusing, my brain doesn’t get it. I don’t know why.

Beautiful card and excellent tips for copics!! One thing that I struggled with early on was putting to much ink down to quickly trying to get it to blend and my images would bleed outside the lines. My suggestion is start slow, you can always add more color or shading, but its a lot harder to remove.

Gotta admit…that list of numbers blending made my head swim! This video comes as a perfect time. I am trying to work on my copic coloring and I have recently added to my collection of markers. I did purchase the Hex chart from Sandy Allnock (?) and it is very helpful because some colors are so similar that you really don't need every marker ( and this is what I keep repeating to myself). So I am really looking forward to watching the video. I just stop the video each time I want to make a comment and then continue on.

I have followed you for years and love your coloring but I still am lousy at Copic coloring. Thanks for these tips. I am going to see what I have and maybe plan to invest in some colors that you reference. I hate that they are just sitting there, never being used. Kelly will be the first to tell you that it takes practice. As someone who is just above beginner and not quite intermediate still after a few years, the color palette/#’s you choose is, like, 75% of the battle. The rest is a mix of paper type and muscle control. You’ll get there. There’s a ton of cheat palettes on Pinterest if you want to take the guesswork out of the number matching. That what I did. I literally printed the palettes out and took them to Blicks. I was the weirdo sitting on the floor trying every single marker on my paper samples that I brought from home. Nobody cared in the least. :)

You had mentioned a few videos back that you were struggling with displaying your cards so customers can see the sentiments inside. I too struggled with that but it was friends who would take them out of smaller cello bag to see the sentiment then either not put them back, bending corners, dirty greasy finger prints. I solved this by using a cello bag I purchase on Amazon.
