@@damyr I agree that NBA Basketball just isn't as competitive as it was in the 80's and 90's. However I say that the competitiveness slowly departed from the game during the 2010's. All the greats also start to leave the sport. Leaving the NBA devoid of star power to a degree.

I'll never forget the Raps/Bulls game in the intro. Raps were down pretty big in that game like 17 points or so when the fight between Ibaka and Lopez broke out. It seemed to fire up the Raps and they ended up coming back to win the game. Raptors had lost like the last 5-6 games in a row to the Bulls before that game as well.

That's PRYOR !!!! And for the record, Dr. J is evey every bit as great as Larry Bird. Dr. J is the only player in professional Basketball history to win MVP in 2 leagues. Put that in your pipe and smoke it . Also one of a handful of players who (when both league stats are combined) actually scored 30 thousand points in their careers. So, Richard Pryor, (Julius Dr.J Erving) as you playfully stated is a NBA champion, and professional sports icon, not to mention a professional sports immortal.

Too much blame was put on the players for the Malice at the Palace. If I'm at work, and someone throws a beer at me, I feel I should be able to defend myself. Also, fans shouldn't have been on the floor. If a fan is on the floor, you deserve whatever you get.

I remember the Artest fight and the following season he was respected by the entire country let alone NBA teams and fans. Tough guy. Three seasons later, he promised Kobe a Championship after having an altercation with him. Then they won couple of championships together. After all Artest became Kobe’s protégé.
