The game five shot data is heavily misinterpreted, the difference in paint shots is very apparent and not all two pointers are created equal. Also dirk clearly pushed that man in the back mid air, which is objectively a foul. Im not a heat fan, just a data nerd

Growing up my favorite was Moses Malone. That 24-17 you mention. Well that equals 41. I think that is the highest total ever for a year. I think it still is. Let me know if I am wrong. Now The Dream got the better of every great center during his time and there were many greats. Even Shaq wouldn't argue that or Robinson or any other. He had many but the move they call the Dream, man he made others look silly. This was my first video I have watched of your's, but not the last. Great list. New sub.

I went back and watched game 6 not too long ago. The refs also missed an OBVIOUS travel on Dwayne Wade in the closing minute, that ultimately led to him getting more free throws. Not sure what the game time stamp is, but it was on one of Dallas’s last possessions. Dirk threw an admittedly pretty bad pass to Dampier and Wade gets the steal. Wade holds the ball knowing an intentional foul is coming. on the replay you can see clear as day, without dribbling, Wade takes a full step with his right foot, pauses, then takes a full step with his left. Dallas then fouls him and puts him back on the line. should have been Dallas’s ball with another shot to take the lead, instead more free throws for Wade.

Kevin Garnett was a better all around player than Karl Malone. Karl Malone was durable and reliable, but KG had more tools. I just don't see how Malone is better if you hypothetically replace Karl Malone with KG playing alongside John Stockton. Defensively, KG was much better than Karl Malone, because he could cover a wider spectrum of defensive assignments, and do them better. Malone tried his best as a defensive player, but as a shot blocker, he was very poor due to his average leaping ability, did not have long arms, which meant taller greats like Duncan had been difficult assignment for him; think Larry Bird defense. Malone was a defensive liability. KG was a defensive asset who could play all-around defense. Karl Malone's stats were, you have to assume, some of it was because he played with John Stockton, a PG who averaged 10+ assists per game. John Stockton made everyone else better. Replace Stockton with a PG like Stephon Marbury, I suspect those points would have been lower. The problem with scorers is, often times, they don't make their teams that much better. They hog the ball and play poor defense, and don't open up opportunities for their teammates. A dominant player like Shaquille O'Neal was more than just a scorer; Shaq opened up the offense for his teammates in ways that Wilt Chamberlain never really did. Wilt Chamberlain was a ball hog. I am not saying Karl Malone was a ball hog, I am saying that core stats don't tell the whole story. Also, 6'9" is not undersized for a power forward, it is the bare minimum height.

Tim Duncan is a center. Tim just got listed as a PF because theu had David Robinson at Center and the League wouldn't let teams list two centers.

My uncle was a big time gambler on all professional sports. Millions of dollars were bet annually. I had just got my Steve Nash jersey in the mail I was 16. He looked at me and said never bet against this man. He’s the smartest player in the nba. Not very tall, not very fast, doesn’t have the best jump shot or rebound. He’s about as average as a player can get. BUT he said what makes him great (Steve Nash) is he is the smartest player on the court and his ability to play the game consistently. Then explained to me in detail watching tape why he’s the smartest player. I was hooked.
