I'd love to suggest Braid, if I may! It was a pioneer when it came to indie game design, 2D side scroller which also has a rewind mechanic to aid in puzzle solving. The art style is beautiful, and the story is pretty dark!

OOoo I just checked it out on Steam. The art style looks so different i'm not sure I like it...but then I said the same thing about Stardew and I love that so i'll trust you on it and give it a go :D

@@CocoDuckGames, that's fair, I know there are a lot of games I've shied away from just based on the art styles alone. I do think you might be pleasantly surprised by this one if you ever decide you want to try it, though! Also, the remaster looks good, but I almost think I prefer the pixelated graphics from when it originally came out in 2008! 😄

Ohh are you liking Little Nightmares 1 or 2 more ? I'll say yes because it's one I know other 'cozy' gamers have enjoyed and it's definitely on my list to play...but from the little I have seen it looks freaky AF! Honestly may have to stream it so I am not alone and force myself to be brave!

LOVED limbo and was looking for games like it! I loved INSIDE even more 🤍 I would put night in the woods on this list as well - not intentionally creepy more so it makes you feel....alone.... desolate
