It is. Cortlen had gun powder residue on him. He had enough time to change clothes. He supposedly “dropped Melly off”. Then went to the hospital. In my opinion I think he’s the one that did it. The road they were shot on looks like a backroad and he could’ve easily stopped pretended he had to pee then opened the door n fire at them. What’s the point in Cortlen telling police Melly was with them but him not show up at the hospital too?? That right there is why Melly is the main suspect because of Cortlen telling them he was with them when it happened. If your friend just killed two of yalls friends why would you mention that he was there but not show up with him. Why would he leave his extra phone if he did it? I think Cortlen is setting Melly up.

The tragectoty of the bullets through the back passenger seat show they were shot downward. Which means either someone was close to the car or further away and higb up when those shots were fired.

To all Melly defenders: Listen up, I know focus and critical thinking is tough for rap fans so I'll be concise. Both victims were shot once or twice in the face and head from the left side of their heads. They died immediately. The rest of the bullets came after death (or post mortem for people with thought capacity) from the rear and right side of the vehicle. A shell casing was found at Melly's feet (driver side rear seat floorboad) which couldn't have happened in a "drive-by". Was that clear enough for you? Melly is guilty AF and going to prison for life. I'd prefer the death penalty, but I'll settle for forever in a cage just the same.

I’m new to the trial, but at first glance, I see a possible argument being: They (melly and his friends) were shot at & shot back at the assailants. There’s no way to tell which bullets were fired first, whether from inside or outside the vehicle. I haven’t seen any argument from defense yet, so I don’t really know what their case theory is, but I firmly believe that they’ll suggest that they (melly and friends) were fired on & returned fire back at the “assailants”, and Melly’s friends were killed. I find it extraordinarily inconvenient for defense, that melly was never injured, hit, or that there was even a legitimate attempt to kill him, but his fiends were.

Cortlen (the friend) said a car pulled up to his driver side and started shooting but the bullets are only where the two victims were sitting. The front passenger seat and the rear passenger seat. Melly was in the backseat behind Cortlen. The shots that killed them came from the inside of the car. The detectives can’t determine which gun (Melly’s and Cortlen’s gun) did it but they know one of them did it because the story nor does the crime scene add up to their story. Idk what the jury will rule but the only evidence the detectives DONT have is who did it and which gun was used to kill them. There’s not much needed because the other evidence points to them, that they did it.

maybe i've missed something, but the one problem i see is, melly could have been dropped off and another person picked up shorty after they left. this other person would have taken melly's seat and could have been the shooter, while everything else would look exactly the same. very unlikely, i have to admit, but still kinda sketchy that this is a possibility and can't be ruled out completely with the current evidence.

I’m gonna summarize this to help ppl understand. In the opening statements Both sides told you their theory of what they will be proving what happened. Each piece of evidence you see that judge sign is evidence that will be used in the very end to make their decision. So at the end of the trial, they all sit down and come to an agreement based on the evidence you seen signed. They all have to come to an agreement if anyone declines or is unsure they will ask them why and for them to include the evidence as to why. Any evidence that wasn’t signed in and given to the judge is irrelevant. Whatever the evidence points to in this case will be the final answer.
