Congrats on hitting affiliate! Yeah, I made sure to quickly add at least SOME channel point things, so they have something to spend them on. Even if it's just a "hydrate" or "stretch". I also added some stuff that is not on every stream, like Japanese-Only Mode for me. Or even some sound alerts! People love playing them, especially if it hits at a 'perfect' spot in the stream. And having them be channel points instead of bits is also more likely to be used, as not everybody has bits to spend. As a small streamer, I always enjoy talking one on one with viewers, bouncing topics off and having a comfy conversation. BUT, sometimes questions I ask may feels too specific or too in-depth, so I feel like it just becomes awkward. What are ways to get past that feeling, or even just know limits for the topic of conversation? In addition, probably another thing is how should we properly react to those certain viewers who come into chat and talk about negative things? (i.e. depression, something terrible, etc.) If you already made a video segment on any of this, please let me know! Thank you for this vid though! Helps alot! \o/
@StreamScheme3 жыл бұрын
"BUT, sometimes questions I ask may feels too specific or too in-depth" avoid this, and keep it general, that is the best way to do it! Talk broad relatable topics! " probably another thing is how should we properly react to those certain viewers who come into chat and talk about negative things?" My mods will usually at the person and say the chat isn't the place for that type of discussion due to nobody being trained professionals, they'll clear the message, and tell the person to type !mentalhealth or they'll type it themselves so that my bot sends a command with a link to support lines. and we all keep moving. Hope this helps mate!

As an affiliate, on your Stream Manager/Stream Dashboard, on the right you'll see buttons, you can run ads using those, or hit the + to add new buttons if you can't see the ads. Hope that helps!

Amazing video, great information and it's exactly what I needed to watch before my stream. Even after reaching affiliate the work doesn't stop there, there is so much more to do, and I get that people get excited to reach affiliate but after that it's easy to get demotivated when you don't see your channel grow past those 5 viewers or 75 followers. That's where I think this video is super important to watch...the information that you provide on here is crucial and actually very motivating...so yeah thank you!🙏
