What an astonishingly beautiful country. I live in Canada, where we have some of the most breathtaking sights on the earth's surface. But...it's huge. To experience it all takes months. Japan is the perfect size where a 3 week trip can garner just as many breathtaking views...in far less time.

I'm not a big fan of these touristy travel videos about Japan, but I must say, these Japan-Guide videos provide a lot of really useful and informative information about Japan. They're also beautifully shot. With the Coronavirus hitting the world as hard as it has, it's difficult to travel across the 'Land of the Rising Sun' right now. But once this period is all behind us, I look forward to more videos from you guys! Please, keep them coming!

This is awesome thank you for this. My girlfriend and I are going to Japan in April for 3 weeks, our plan is to go to Tokyo, Hakone, Osaka and Kyoto. We were going to just go straight there via train or flight but now that you’ve shown a new way to get there I’m going to plan to go this route! Thank you!

That's a flattering comparison. Yes, we often collaborate with tourism related organizations who help fund the projects and get permissions to film, otherwise it would be difficult to make the videos.

I visit all famous place like Fushimi-inari,Nara park and etc. You can traveled with train to visit Osaka,Kyoto,and nara,but for tokyo if you want cheap you can use a JR Bus from Kyoto to Tokyo,and i go back to Osaka with the bus from tokyo and take a train to back to the Kansai Airport.

Your videos make me so emotional! IIRC the last time I was in Japan was about 20 years ago, and I miss that beautiful country so much. Really wish your videos were much longer! Well I'm two months off from my first trip to japan and this itinerary is part of my plan starting from Itoigawa :) I have so many questions (!!) but the first and main one is if it is worth to buy the Hokuriku Arch Pass if you have the regular JR Pass? What is the difference aside from the HAP limited to the new golden route? Btw when was this filmed?
@adama4791

Hi, thank you so much for this amazing itinerary, very much what I wanted to see in Japan as I want a more relaxing trip rather than hustle and bustle trip. My only thing is I would like to shorten this by one day so I can head back to tokyo because I fly out of Tokyo. Would the JR pass cover all of these same areas? I don't mind the extra price since I want to be able to take the short route from Kyoto to Tokyo. Thank you

Each season has their own highlights, but to see cherry blossoms your best bet to visit during late March through mid April. Of course, the timing also depends which area of Japan you visit. Here's much more information about the timing of cherry blossoms: www.japan-guide.com/e/e2011_when.html
