7 days of New South Wales Cycling Trip -DAY 2 SYDNEY TO WOLLONGONG🌈 2022 UCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Welcome back to the second ep of 7 days riding in New South Wales!
Kicked start our riding trip to Wollongong!
I have never been to Wollongong before. Hence, I was super excited as I know we will be riding along the Grand Pacific drive.
We took a car transfer from Sydney to Helensburgh as the traffic in Sydney's CBD was bad on a Monday.
The highlight of today's route is riding on 2022 UCI ROAD WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. The route from Helenburgh to Wollongong, en-route up Bald Hill, down back to the course via Sea Cliff Bridge all the way along the coast to the Wollongong lighthouse which is next to our hotel - Sage Hotel.
The terrain's for today's route was manageable. It is rolling hills. I barely see any traffic lights along the way. The elevation of climbs was not very high too.

Thank you for pointing out that the blue line on the road is for the UCI 2022 event! I had no idea, and it's amazing to learn this. I actually rode to that event and even did the route from Helensburgh to the Sea Cliff Bridge, but I completely missed the significance of the blue line. It's fascinating to think I was cycling along the same route. Thanks again for sharing this with everyone!
