so i need some more help. i have done all the steps in the video however my ISP doesn't allow port forwarding. i am using t-mobile for my ISP and a tp link mesh network after it. i can open the ports on the TP link but not the t-mobile modem/ router . ive tried a VPN but im not having any luck ...

Had some issue's with Steam CMD after the 1.0 launch works perfect when using the dedicated server launched via Steam, wondering if they have not officially released 1.0 on Steam CMD as the documentation still references alpha 21

How do you change the settings for the "new" world generator in a dedicated server? The seed and size is in the config file (this is old) but what about the settings for "Towns", "Rivers", "Craters", "Cracks", "Lakes" etc?

so @troublecute I was able to install the steam cmd part however when I start the server the telnet option isn't running and I don't get the 7 days to die dedicated server console that launches.

Hi i have done everything as in the video and the server is online and it is found even by friends but when you want to access it server information is not found any idea ? ports are all open

Followed the directions. On my 2nd computer on the same network I get the following error, "Could not retrieve server information." I can search for the server from the 7D2D's game server search function. It reflects all the updated rules (so I can tell it is able to be read as a server), but every time I try and connect, I get the error "Could not retrieve server information." Does anyone have any ideas?

ok I followed every single step in the video twice and everything on my end is great. but my friend get the error "could not retrieve server id" is that a port forward issue, because I have forwarded other ports with no isssue

@kerileakr yes. So when port forwarding I forwarded all these ports. 26900-26902 top and udp, and also ports 8080 and 8081 top and udp. That worked. Also make sure if you disabled easy anticheat that you start up 7days to die without easy anticheat. Otherwise it won't authenticate

the server just needs the same mods folder added with the same mods files you have in your game location folder

some mods require EAC disabled. I turn mine off anytime I use mods because it is only friends and I playing. just like some mods are server side only and other mods require everyone to have them installed

make sure you have file extensions on... if not you wont see its actually update.bat.txt instead of update.bat
