I honestly wish there was a way to pay the merchants to stay with them for horde night. [X] amount of coins to hunker down with them, the amount going up higher each time you spend a night with them, so you can't just keep doing it over and over, that would be a neat mechanic imo.

Tho this would be nice but since itll have to be whenever your nearby its kinda pointless, if they made it so things can happen when your not nearby this would be fantastic and if they did die or their base is destroyed it can be respawned when loot respawns or after X amount of days or even the trader ran away safely and went to another trader where you have todo a quest or quest chain to get them back up and running. Edit: or can give you a quest that they are about to be attacked and if u dont show its just instant destroyed and you get a good reward for defending

@@Supayone if you say you run it on a potato and the game doesnt have fps issues here and there for you then you either play on ultra low graphic settings or you are lying XD i have multiple friends who play this game with me from time to time and the have super expensive powerful PC,s and even they experience FPS issues especially when theres like 15-20+ zombies present xd and bigger building are causing said fps issues aswell so i highly doubt you are telling the truh i also played this game on a potato till like 6 months ago before i got my new pc and even with this one i have said issues here and there so i dont believe what you say xd

​@@Supayone The fps tanks really hard on those lvl 5-6 missions, i get 170fps on the streets but when i enter the building and the zombies start to wake up the fps goes to 60-70fps. Maybe you are playing at 30 fps, then if the fps drops to 15 you won't really notice the difference.

I think it's to say they got 1.0 done, push it to consoles, and then abandon the current ps4 and maybe even eventually the ps5 and xbox equivalent versions as they add new updates and slowly bring those features in by "Version 1.5" like other games have done. How many games have launched in an unfinished state and then added those features and done a rebranding launch or sort of relaunch with their big overhaul update post launch? Cyberpunk 2077 and WWZ becoming WWZ Aftermath come to mind.

Game reached 1.0 status and empty jars also get eaten by the player character when drinking boiled water. Either that or they disappear magically for whatever reason. So 7 days and lies of p dlc and sequels are the only interesting games to me. Stanley parable(remake) good. Stray, cute. I really enjoyed control. Hopefully, that sequel is soon. But can't stand apex anymore. I play the division 2 once in a while still. Tlou factions is mostly cheaters, so that's frustrating. Ugh games. I've only played since my Atari 2 or 3 years old. 41/42 years of gaming and it extremely disappointing to me.

It's really messed up the way they've managed to spend 12 years in Alpha, made changes then reverted said changes, all the while, never bothering to optimize the game whatsoever. The worst part is, on the Steam forums, they send their army of white knights and shills to defend them against any and all criticism and negative feedback.. One of the things they removed from the game, has now been turned into a spin-off game that they're also working on, which will also be released in Early Access... They really screwed over the console players, though. Anyone who bought the game have to re-purchase it in order to get the 1.0 alpha release build. Kind of funny when they re-acquired the license from TTG two years ago, added their name as the publisher and developer on the Xbox store for the current version, then goes on to say that they can't update it or replace it with the new one because 'It's TTG's game'.. what a load of BS..

I'm now late 30's and believe they aren't doing enough and haven't added enough. the only reason this release is news is because it's spectacular that a game has been in development for over 10 years. The firearms are actually very detailed, but you can't see all the details with default animations. When you play with VR mod, you can rotate weapons freely in your hand and the details hidden by graphics artists look amazing.

My friend has over 2000 hours in the game and also never complained about it. If you want realistic guns, play H3VR (Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades). The details are amazing and even the well known on youtube British museum firearms expert was very impressed - you reload the guns manually by physically pulling all the levers, etc. with your motion controllers. That's the best game in the world for fans of realistic guns. I don't care about realism in my zombie game.

I am a tester of the closed version of the mod (and also Polish language translator for the mod), and the mod authors were impressed that it looks better, even though they didn't touch anything in regards of the quality of the items. Btw, when the next version of the VR mod drops, people will love it. I can't spoil anything, but there are major features coming that people will love, they're so much fun. There's still a lot of issues to fix before the public release, so it won't be soon, but trust me, it will be worth it. They will definitely want to finish everything for the 1.0 release during experimental alpha phase.

While i am glad to see new stuff there are a lot of issues to be resolved imo. Crafting system needs revamp again, I constantly get lvl 5 or 6 weapons way before being able to craft them. World needs to feel more alive, npcs with dynamic outcomes to quests factions and so on. Modders have kept this game alive!

Just shy of 600 hours on my steam account, and probably another hundred or so elsewhere. 7 Days has been one of two games I've followed in development for so long, and after seeing the gradual small changes, improvements, and additions, It's so exciting to finally see a full release. Game became a looting sim. Lets just analyse the trailer and absolutely destroy it. Lots of zeds on streets is a lie. Literally next frame we get a flying view of the city with no zeds at all. Those were all spawned. Base building just sucks. It takes forever and is boring as hell. You are better of just not bothering with bases. Zeds have super powers to sense players making a base just a time waste. Not a single big city shown. Always outskirts of the city. Because in city fps is still garbage. No looting changes seen in the video. So still same old collector simulator.

The gameplay video is also edited with effects. They added a post-FX motion blur like in most video- "gameplay" trailer. To make the gameplay look smooth.
