Yeah, I never make the thing. It's durability doesn't match what it would be capable of and you can't cut through the city buildings because of it's size.

Sticking to the roads is actually quicker in most cases. Clearing the roads of vehicles is advisable and will get you a lot of loot and salvage. I even take all rubbish, stones and tyres just because I like a clean road.

I got an engine from a demo yesterday on my solo and a 4x4 chassis from a blue loot bag I think. So it is possible to get engines from loot. I'm level 70 game stage over 200 in the snow biom . Good vid

When you see your truck start to flame on.... just pick it up. Then you can put it down again and usually it will at least not be smoking or flaming any more. It's still broken, though...

With all the work it takes to get the truck unlocked and built, it's super frustrating that it runs on repair kits instead of fuel. Even with the plow, maybe if the vehicle armor could be applied or it just took way less environmental damage. It's a huge 4x4 truck it shouldn't loose 25% of its hp off of a cinderblock stack or some small trees.

Vanity Tower and Higashi Pharm are beasts, burned so much ammo for myself and my turret. My drone was overheating slapping medkits on me, the hordes just don't stop. Assassin armor with Preacher gloves and maxed out perks/stats for stealth are lifesavers. Only downside is you sometimes might have to go thru again "loud" to wake up any sleepers you missed being all sneaky Pete.

I'd love to see a one off series where you start with a set amount of gear each time and your goal is to survive perpetual horde night as long as you can without building anything. You could do things like add a vehicle or starting off in certain locations or doing melee only or changing the horde stage
