Hey Glock I think to add something special to the "escape" even though you'll be attacked by vultures and birds, I think you should have the workbench on top of the building and have it set to build while you are in the middle of a horde so it's a proper escape out of the city.

@@lewinmg It would be, yes. Having Feral Sense on all the time would basically mean he wouldn't be doing anything productive, just killing zombies. Cities have a high zombie spawn rate and Feral Sense would ensure that no matter where he goes or what he's doing, he'll have a train of zombies following. The series would get very boring, very fast.

Hey, Glock! About zombie fall damage: it was mentioned specifically in an A20 Dev stream that zombie fall damage was CAPPED to prevent players from making kill pits where the zombies could fall far enough to be killed outright, however it was also mentioned that zombies could still be killed by a series of falls or by suffering damage followed by taking fall damage. Regarding fall damage, I read on a forum (so it must be true!) that zombies do take fall damage, but it maxes out at 30% of their max health. So if true, they’d have to be pretty low health already to die. Edit: dug deeper, found some good test vids, it maxes out at around 33%, but reaches that max between 30-50 blocks of fall distance. So, a rare drop indeed. A 12 block fall does about 1.5%, a 15 block fall does about 8%, 20 does about 18%, etc. 30 blocks does almost the full 33%.

I suggest to end this series on horde night. The chopper is on top of Glock tower and Glock must fight to escape. Just a suggestion but that might be an awesome ending.

I think the "Too easy" feeling isn't that it's too easy, it's just that you are so experienced in the game that it *feels* too easy for you. Because you know what you're doing and what not to do etc. I picked up the game again after a long hiatus and I don't have that same "it's too easy" feeling on the harder difficulties really.

I'm so glad to hear you want to play darkness falls again. I love that mod! But please, this time don't do permadeath. Set a number of deaths you're allowed or something. I'd hate to see that series end so soon again since darkness falls is a mod full of random deaths.

Darkness Falls is amazing and I am definitely looking forward to that series. I also really like the mod War of the Walkers. There is also the Romero Mod where only headshots deal damage to zombies which you can add to any existing mod I believe to make it much more of a challenge.

Oh, i just had idea for future series. Mole Glock. Can move between PoI's only underground. Can leave underground only at night(maybe with exception of trader). Daylight is enemy of Mole Glock. Have underground base and system of tunnels under town. Shovel digging would take too long, so you are allowed to have Auger at beginning with some fuel, and miner helm with light.

Hey Glock. I have a challenge for you. The Carpenters Challenge! Sorta like your Cabin in the Woods series where you try to defend a run down house. Except the only weapons you are allowed to use are the claw hammer and the nail gun. The only materials you can use is wood. You can not alter the structure, you can only make repairs... With a Horde every night, how many nights can you last?

A20 at game stage 250 and above is when you start to see true horde on 64 max alive. at game stage 350 its not unheard of to have 500 to 800 kills in one horde night. I did my day 70 horde at around game stage 350 and i had 700 ish kills, Grand Spartan had over 1k kills on his day 63 horde night in his arena, so it varies. i posted a video if you wanna check it out i compare kills in beginning and end of video. Modded is cool and all just dont forget that end game vanilla is high game stage. 300% isn't easy to keep up with ammo and mining because real hard when you start getting radiated screamer hordes. No matter what you decide to do im a big fan and im going to watch whatever you post bro. Just dont want to see you miss out on true vanilla hordes.

YEEES! I'm so stoked to see you play DF again, especially as Father Glock! I recently did a solo DF run and it was a blast popping Z heads with lasers and my plasma sword! Fair warning, though, it's still a bit glitchy, especially where demonic enemies are concerned. Their fireballs tend to phase through walls (which renders them invisible), and sometimes they do something that causes you to rapidly lose health for several seconds, but without any associated status effect or any other indicator. I guess demons know how to perform the dim mak.

I think a good idea for a future game would be that you have to build a base and survive 2 hordes in each biome. Start with the green and work your way up to New Jersey. That way you start fresh at a later game stage and have to rush to build a base.

The most damage they can take from a fall is 33% of their max health and that damage can finish them off. As a result, it would take 3 drops off of Glock's Tower to kill a full health Zombie. This was a major change from A15 to A16, as the strongest base type in A15 involved basically AFKing the Horde and killing everything with fall damage.

This series inspired me to load up 7DtD, and try on a slightly harder mode than 'default'. Trader for starting quest was 3.9km away. Made it to the town just as it became Night and was killed 4 times in a row by Wolf. fml

Also, remember you haven't turned on Feral sense all the time. That certainly adds more craziness. You could also do an XML change where two hits kills you. Roughly 90% damage when you start and maybe you can get it up to three hits kills. Still crazy but not one touch kill.

Attack and destroy’s play through has an additional zombies mod that you should add to DF if you can. It raises count and has a colorized that changes the zombies clothing color so they don’t all look the same. Maybe also add the Romero mod so you can get any size horde at any random time

Darkness Falls won't get the extra POI's until the Magolis Compo Pack 48 gets released. According to Stallionsden on their Discord they are just waiting on TFP to fix a wilderness bug. Here's his quote: "Now just waiting on tfp to fix a wilderness bug only they can fix (fingers crossed they have it for 20.3) And await 1 final piece to be finished and in my hands and then testing (which has already started) and a play thru (while testing) will commence and pending any further nres ofc." Once the Compo Pack is released hopefully Khaine will add them to the mod shortly after. What I have been doing for now is adding ZZTong's Prefab pack to the game. Seems to play fine with Darkness Falls. Most of those prefabs are included in the Compo Pack whenever it finishes but its good for now. There's roughly 75 prefabs in the pack.

I still think to make it hard, feral, irradiated and spider zombies should be able to climb walls. Especially on hoard night. I also think on hoard nights, zombie animals should be able to spawn with hoards. Zombie dogs, birds AND bears. With dogs always being in packs of 3-5 on hoard night rather than one or two.

Yeah, I know. Late to the party. Was out of town... City limits don't end at the last yard in town, they extend, often miles, out into the country. City governments plan ahead for more tax revenue $$$. Arizona cities do that plus some. The city limits actually go out to about as far as you can drive on a tank of gas in the mini-bike. Some mining a few feet outside of the last folks yard should be perfectly legal.

How about a "Naked and Afraid" series to tide you over until the Darkness Falls series? Only primitive weapons allowed (No guns), no armour allowed, set in the middle of the desert (No towns allowed) and you have to build your own base. Should be a challenge for you.

zombies do take fall damage but its a fixed maximum amount now. they cant be full hp and fall and die, they have to be injured enough already. also darkness falls is one of my fave mods for 7days, but unless you go cooking/farming (or somebody does) youre boned bcuz everything gives dysentery
