You can find honey or antibiotics or in fact almost anything in everything that is searchable. You pass up almost everything in search of certain boxes or bags and could be passing up what you need in a pile of trash in the corner. I usually clear a POI while unencumbered then thoroughly search it afterwards and that means everything. Any excess stuff, I create a storage box outside and mark it on map. Fun to watch your journey and I'd love to see you succeed!

I know you can get anything from any container, but there is an increased chance for items in 'their' type of loot container. At this stage of an infection, it just felt best to focus on pkaying the highest odds :)

It is a tricky one to know how to play your current predicament. OP is mistaken, honey will not spawn in food type loot like fridges. But I am a fan of loot stashes all over the map until I can get a motorised vehicle to go round and collect them all, I just mark them with a simple X on the map and put one outside before I start any quest. Lower tier quests can have honey as a reward. It may be worth a run around the forest biome for tree stumps as that is your most pressing situation. Once you have three, the time it takes to bring down your infection could be time spent doing other stuff. Running around in a city is slow because of agro. Running around the forest you can cover much more ground. Loving this play through though and it is suspenseful. lol.

Side note, don’t put a stash box too close to the poi as it will disappear when you start the quest. I normally find the centre road marking a good place as you can run to it mid quest without failing the mission.

I had infected high and went to the trader hoping to get something, and couldn’t believe he had 4 honey, then I found a honey in a tree trunk. Couldn’t believe how lucky I was.

That's unfortunate. The random nature of loot really makes the game re-playable but possibly frustrating at the same time. I've found honey inside news stand kiosks and road side fruit stands so those may be worth checking out. You could look for stumps in Central Park too if it's defined as pine forest.

keep in mind that poppin pills and medical supplies isn't the only places to find meds you can sometimes find some in trash, houses and cars. hoping you find some soon would like to see you survive longer

The reason why the pillar fell when you dug underneath it was because it was attached to wood which has less weight capacity than cobblestone which the other pillar was attached to.

It is possible to loot honey from trees, but only after you've read Wasteland Treasures Volume 1, which unlocks the ability. Sadly, I don't have it yet:(

Sorry if I missed it, but how did you solve the "F" key issue as I am now having the same problem. Same for NVG, no dice with F key. Tried repairing thinking that might have affected it, but nope.

So I think you’ll struggle to find herbal or anti possibly due to your loot level Also why pass up things that you want when you have 5 steroids you might as well use them especially when you have red tea Also I don’t think the resources it costs t make those pocket mods was worth it tbh, not for one pocket per mod
