You can wrench or use the pick ax on empty barrels and they will not explode. If you find a workbench you cannot access, you can wrench it for iron bars.

Chap, empty fuel barrels are not empty are they, they are full, of fuel VAPOR which is quite volatile so I give the devs credit for that bit being more or less realistic. We are NOT going to get into the whole empty the fuel out and then store your water or beer or wine in them but they did try lol. All in all a great video. I don't know that I would be so bold as to be doing a night mission so soon. Hat's off to you brother. I asked my doctor if I could sew my own cut; He said "Suture self."

@johnme7049 yeah I suppose that is a fair amount of realism. I need a way to safely remove them, but im too scared to try salvaging in case they blow up in my face! And lol 🤣🤣

My experience with the spiral staircase is that it's a toss up whether the zombies will climb the stairs or just destroy them. It looks cool but it's useless.

Gasoline isn't an explosive but with the right air/fuel ratio, it's energetic. I watched a guy welding up an empty gas tank and it went off. It turned the tank into a beach ball.

I sincerely hope the randomness is working properly. I usually get stressed about straying too far from home by the mid game, just in case ... lol. Great series so far.

Not that I’ve ever ran out of fuel but I keep my Bike inside the Mini-Bike and then the Mini-Bike inside the Motorcycle and so on just incase.. Also check the wall strength in some areas of that fire station on the bottom floor not sure if they’re all concrete or not

The only problem with stacking your transportation inside each other is that if you die a long way from your bike, you will need to go there on foot. I usually keep a vehicle close to my bedroll so I have a quick way to get back and get my stuff.

I mean when I get the motorcycle I remove the bicycle from the mini bike and then put the mini bike inside the motorcycle and leave the bicycle at base 👌
