There's a glitch where it re-sets chunks of land (including buildings etc) to day 1 state. If that makes sense. So if you have made a base, or turned a pre-fab into a base it can be deleted and re-set to day 1. Taking all your storage crates, furnaces etc with it. It's happened to me 3 times and it's literally heart-breaking lol. If you search the forums you'll find more details.

Untrue. Zombies are, at best, maimed instead of killed, and just two zombies will completely destroy a regular spike. If you’re gonna make spikes, at least make them log spikes. Sure it’s expensive, but it saves a lot of time.

TheDisarminghinkle Nope. The Zs just crawl right up on top of them and just die. The only things I’ve found that can survive more than a second are special extra tough ones like blisters and lumberjacks. Plus if your smart, you can just dig out a deep tunnel and live there, building log spikes on the surface above and let them die. I’ve yet to die on a single 7 day cycle.

Just want to point out if it hasn't been yet but Gavin can change the paint color by pressing R and pick based on the achievements gotten. The "red" is just the base color for the background of the paint icon. Like so Gavin may get to adding some life to the house versus just a red house.

Stone+Clay=Cobblestone rocks now. You can use several of these to make Flagstone blocks and then upgrade it with more cobblestone to make cobblestone Blocks. Flagstone has 500 while Cobblestone has 1500 DR.

I could be wrong, but i think Geoff is half right with how leveling up really emphasizes killing zombies. Its not so much the actual killing that levels you up, but the mixture of other things you'd likely be doing as you kill zombies/explore in general. You know, run from trader to city and get traveling up, crafting weapons, knowing how to stealth kill, reading more recipes, scavenging and treasure hunting, digging and getting food, breaking down locked doors and guns safes, treating infections, crafting clothes for different environments, perhaps even swimming if that helps a skill. Think about it, that's the stuff Ryan, Michael, Jeremy end up doing, meanwhile Geoff's main paths for leveling are walking up a hill, chop down some trees & crafting spikes

A good fuel source that I came across by chance is making a bunch of wood pillars and using that instead of just putting wood itself in the furnaces/campfires... They cost just a few wood and last 5 minutes... very good if you plan on keeping your coal to make gunpowder... Also, try not to leave any campfires, furnaces, or other heat sources on for too long or close together... Occasionally, zombies will be attracted to the heat profile and investigate the area, namely Screamer zombies (the one that beat gavin to death while he was crafting a stone axe)... If screamers spot you, they will make that creepy scream and it instantly spawns a few zombies nearby with a small chance to spawn another screamer making them extremely dangerous to leave alone...

Manuel Rayon owning an elgato I can say some times shit just doesn’t record correctly and they’re also using a shared drive for everything, in their last podcast they mentioned that some times files get messed up or corrupted and unusable.

Every time they record, each one of them has separate audio files for their voices and files for the recording of the games. If there are 5 people on average in each video, that's 10 separate files on average for each video. 15 if they also have face cams. Let's just average it out to 12. If they lose just 1 file per video (which is more than they actually lose because they don't lose one every episode), that's just 8.3% frequency. That's really not that bad.

Jeremy best tactic in a building is either build a dozen frames and build stair steps 3 or 4 blocks high then remove the last 2 or 3 steps using e key. Now your on a platform they shouldn't be able to reach.

If you pull apart the gun and not put it back into working condition the bullets usually just get put into your inventory, just a tip for you guys, Hope you see this and it helps :D love the content.

Some tips 1. even if you've got the schematic already reading the book will still give you skill ups 2. Make tea to keep you warm and wellness + 3. destroy the stairs leading downstairs in your house, going across the water into a cold area is a bad idea and it will limit the direction zombies come from on horde nights 4. 100% your food and water before leaving so you only have to take minimal water with you 5. stockpile dusters for trading they're worth a lot 6. eat vitamins don't store them, they're used to increase wellness and not needed for much else 7. keep all small engines they're incredibly important and fairly rare 8. when you go to trader loot it there's usually some good stuff lying around there 9. make sure you always have 5 of one medical item on you (med kits, etc)
