One trick you can try could be to create covers of the most used tiktok musics with all your instruments and try to see if the algorithm catch up on it. You should mention the name of the original song and artist in the video (in writing). Nice work so far !

Tiktok and youtube shorts is one thing that I don't understand or like. They're like the opposite of what I want in videos: shallow, generally low quality and meant to be consumed in a bored, nonchalant fashion.

I mean, I said all the same things about Vine, and was proven soundly wrong by the sheer volume of incredible creators that came from there and moved into all other aspects of art. Different people consume differently, and a creator making something for one group is not to the exclusion of others. Besides, if someone is scrolling in a bored, nonchalant fashion, they're a prime candidate to be shown what they could be doing with their 3rd grade recorder and a pack of whirly tubes instead.
