I can only imagine how hard it was to get those nails in a tuned position. This thing sounds amazing. I would definitely purchase a sample library with this in it. Or even better make a Kontact instrument showcasing these unique instruments.

To my Fiddler's ear, the high notes have the sound of a Flute. I'm told that the flute's voice is very close to a very pure Sine Wave, with almost negligible OVERTONES. Who'da Thunk Nails and Screws could produce such tones? Betcha there are lots of levels of complexity that you could build into a playable concert instrument.
