Thank you for the great content! Very insightful. After how many months of low traffic would you say a directory is no longer worth keeping open? And what would be determined as a "low" amount of traffic. Would be awesome to hear the avg monthly costs of both static and pragmatic directories plus any auxillary sites used for SEO and keyword research. Thanks!

You shouldn’t create a branded directory because of trademark infringement. Imagine spending tons of time and effort then getting a cease and desist. That would suck. So avoid branded directories.

Yeah most people use adsense for their directories. I always go straight to mediavine journey now for my sites. They accept sites around 5k-10k/monthly sessions. I like how easy it is to setup (just add the mediavine grow wp plugin), ad placements are also solid out of the box and they don't slow your website down like some other programs.
