The mini chalkboard & wreath is really cute! Use an emory board, or small piece of sandpaper, to remove excess tissue paper when decoupaging. File down, away from your design, to avoid damaging your project. 💝

I love these projects! The birdhouse us so pretty, so are the books, the circle decoration. I've found that coating or stenciling with mid pisge before the paint also helps prevent bleed through. I get so excited when I see one of your beautiful projects and realize j have everything on hand. I want to make the books with rub in transfers and see how that looks. I have that pink burlap ribbon and think it looks adorable with them!

You could try the Dura Clear varnish by Americana. They sell it at Michaels and on Amazon. I have used it and liked how it came out. Love the bird house. I have them and was trying to figure out what to do. Now I know. lol

My DT had been out of the school chalkboard s, but today I found them and bought all 20 lol. I think with a little frame made out of jumbo popsicle sticks, jt could be a really cute bigger one. Or a photo frame painted black? I love the mini one though! I can't wait to try and make it!

Oh these little projects are so adorable. So creative and love the birdhouses and the chick and the decorative egg with the white wax. I created my own white wax with Johnson paste wax and white acrylic paint from Dollar Tree and it turned out great. It was an experiment. 🐰🐇🌿🌿

A nice collection of crafts that don't require a lot of work to look nice! Do you use regular Mod Podge as a top coat or one of the more water resistant ones like Dishwasher Safe Mod Podge?

I have only ever used the satin finish and the matte finish. I’ve never gotten my hands on the dishwasher one. I did recently see it at Michael’s and might try it for some projects but I haven’t ever used it. I often just make my own.

Really cute birdhouse . I've heard some crafters use sandpaper after the tissue paper or napkins are dry, they use sandpaper to remove the excess...might help?

Thank you! Sometimes they come out of my mind lol. But sometimes I apply something I’ve seen, sometimes I try to remake something I saw in a store, sometimes I decide what I want for my decor and make my things based on that. That’s how these came to be. I was making them specifically for my tiered trays :) Great question!

I saw someone online doing this technique....she suggested using a nail file or emory board to remove excess tissue paper or napkin or whatever the paper. It seemed to work great :-) I Loved all the projects! Great job! :-) TFS :-)
